MTASC plays around the gaylord, johannesburg, and lewiston areas... we used to have a dedicated field, but DevilDog had to go and move =p
Also, there used to be a bunch of guys in TC that played... I'll try to find their forum later, not sure if they're still active tho.

Go to Grayling and play behind the guard camp. They already have bunkers and bridges and a bunch of nice areas you can get into

If it's actual camp property, we don't have authorization to play on it. We've already tried =\ If it's state land, we'll look into it... not really sure I wanna be running around on state land near a national guard base when they've already said they wouldnt condone wargames tho.

Thats crap. All that land around the camp is state land. I know cuz I lived their for the past 22 years. You can't actually get into the base but all the area surrounding the base is state land with the bunkers and the whole nine yards. They are only there at the camp for a few months. They don't have the power to stop us from being back there. We hunt the crap out of that land. Within a mile from the camp right where they are playing their war games and not one guy asked us to leave.

Cautionary note - Please don't mistake "no one has stopped us from being here," for "we're allowed to be here."

Ah yes... I've seen that base before. Didn't know that the land around it was state land though.

The last post was by me in Summer of 2005 about the MTASC forums. (Which reminds me I should check those too...) Playing in Grayling would be sweet. Someone should look more into that.

next time I go visit the family in grayling I'll check around and see if I can't find some guys playing there. My brother or his friends would know if there was a team.

Hey guys, its Jim, was with MTASC last weekend for Operation: Starlite. Anyways, I live in Boyne City, so anything from up this area down through Traverse and Cadillac area is an easy travel for me. Anything you guys plan, include me in!
I should be getting my new gun by the end of next week, so hopefully we can get soem games going up this area, my brother is also tweaked about it and wants to get into it as well!
