That looks really good man I like it. Is the jpc on size fits all? I'm a smaller dude too and would love something more form fitting.

I can't speak for the clone, but the real JPC comes in s/m/l. I originally ordered a small, but had to be bumped up to a medium. I'm 5'9", 145, and it fits great. My guess is the Chinese one is a clone of the medium.
Looks good gimp!

I second what Pagan said. It looks amazing and makes me wish I could fit into one as well >_<

Hey guys, Thanks for the compliments. I'm 5'6", 140 and I have it adjusted all the way down. It's probably a little too snug as it is, but it has bit of flex to it. I'd wager that it could be adjusted out a good 6-8" (3-4" inches on either side of the cummerbund) so it could probably fit someone a lot bigger than me. The only issue for taller people is that the plate pocket is actually pretty short. This is nice for me since longer plate carriers tend to either ride up when I crouch or hang below my belly-button, this thing sits at the correct level and doesn't restrict my movement. The JPC with all the pouches attached and loaded with magazines (no water in the hydro) weighs about the same as my empty SPC, so it's pretty tiny. My only real gripe about it is that the shoulder "pads" (not really very padded) sit a bit far apart, so it often feels like the carrier is slipping off of a shoulder. The carrier itself is fairly well made. Certainly nothing like the real Crye, but the PALS webbing is evenly spaced and competently stitched. The inside of the carrier (the part that rests against your body) is made of a thinner, silky fabric that has some mesh bits to it. This part feels a little fragile and if anything wears I'd expect to experience it here. In terms of construction it's on par with my "Weekend Warrior" SPC and is probably a little bit below the level of Flyye and Pantac, based on some of the Pantac pouches I own. If you check out this photo over at Military Morons, you'll get a better idea of how the entire thing adjusts www.militarymorons.com/gear/img/crye/jpc19.jpgusername/password = mm

I own the clone multicam version of it. I'm 6', 180 lbs. and it fits me like a glove. It is a one size fits all kind of rig, although it would look very small on a larger guy.

Gimp, I assume your issues with the shoulder pads and cummerbund are due to the sizing. Typically China clones the Mediums as they are the most universal. I would suggest picking up a real one in Small if you come across the extra cash.

I suggest against picking up the small. Crye was getting a huge ammount of returns on the small, in order to trade up for mediums.

You know I can erase all of this so it's like it never happened, right? The Machine cannot be proven wrong.
