That looks nice man. Only thing that bugs me is the lack of a plate in the front makes it look floppy. I'm guessing it's not like that when your wearing it?

The condor hydro pack might be considered "noob" gear but I have the same one and I love it. Tons of space.

I don't need a plate for airsoft it's just extra weight. I just used my pillow to keep it up to take photos. Yeah the pack works good but I've been wanting to trade up.

Cardboard doesn't weigh that much and has served me well in my plate carriers.

I use foam that's used to put in sleeping bags that I bought at Duhnams and shaped it into plates and put it in my PC, no extra weight but makes it 10x more comfortable. At least in my opinion it does.

I've used that trick for years. You can find that camp foam at Meijer, Walmart, Gander Mtn, etc. It's usually a bright, bright blue. If you want something similar that isn't a bright color, you can use an old USGI sleep pad. Local military surplus shops tend to have lots of them for dirt cheap, and they can be had online for like $2.00. edit: Also, this: Flyye EPC Replica

Finally got a real steel plate carrier. Eventually I'll replace the the mag pouches with 3 kangaroos, 1 in each cummerbund and one on the front. Then probably a single shingle on the front.

Pretty high on the list of reasonable Gucci Russian kit, traded for an SSO SPOSN AK Smersh. No VOG pouches, and missing a few straps to use the butt pouch as a backpack, but I'm still in love with it. HSLD Ruskie style.
