Thank you Maj. Scott, you would be absolutely correct being in a reconnaissance unit we need the extra ammo. As well as we are dismounted due to the rough terrain in Afghanistan.
This is to you Maj. Scott got any advice for a fellow soldier heading over there?

This is to you Maj. Scott got any advice for a fellow soldier heading over there? Keep your head on a swivel and your weapon at the ready. I also advise keeping a minimum of 2 blades on you at all times and 4 while your strapped up and rolling out. Fixed blades. PM me and I'll explain in detail.

Can't argue with that, and wouldn't presume to try.

You're getting pretty close to a decent Ranger rig there, Triggy.

Not really going for any specific branch loadout. I planned on making a grenadier loadout and this is what I ended up with. Let me know what you think.

Holy balls, got enough 203 shells on there?
I'm assuming you don't spend a lot of time bending over or laying down with all that.

I like it, but how much does that mo-fo weigh all loaded with the pistol, all the mags, and grenades?

Try running the shells towards the back instead of the front.

Try running the shells towards the back instead of the front. Man, beat me to it. I kind of posted this in your belt suspenders thread too though. Did you turn your belt around to get everything in front? It would be more comfortable from my perspective to wear it all in back.

Yes, its on backwards. Surprisingly its as comfortable reverse as it is normally. If you wear it normally, you better be Stretch Armstrong to reach the shells in the back, which would be almost all of them. Besides function, I think it looks pretty intimidating with all those shells up front like that.
Without loaded mags and water, its 20.3lbs. Its fairly heavy, but the shoulder straps and fake plates spread the weight nicely and its VERY comfortable. Yes, mobility is cut down a bit, but no worse than a Support Gunner would be.

It's going to suck going prone.
Also, if you can't reach the back of your belt, you're doing something wrong.
