I'm using this for the Marine kit- It was a replacement for a while for the Interceptor that solves a lot of the problems with that system. Even though they have moved on to the SPC it's still a really cool/unique item I think. And looks damn cool. T.A.G. Spartan 1, both these gents are wearing it. - i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh95/cody0341/baldie.jpg

Not bad, I like the yoke. It doesn't come up too high, but its still there. Its kind of crazy looking at those kind of vests now. I've been so used to wearing my chest rig and now this HPC that even thinking to put on something as large as that is somewhat daunting.

I agree with you on that though. It does look huuge compared to the HPC I've been wearing. But if the Marines can wear it all day long every day then I can wear it for a few hours to complete the impression. Plus it will be my first real deal set up. Every thing else I've owned was knock off or just for airsoft.
I believe the yoke is the same as the interceptor because it is supposed to be a direct cover for all the interceptors soft armor and plates.
Should look really great over my MARPAT. Then I need either a PASGT replica or a real deal LWH kpot.

God Dahm, that HPC needed loving and you sure gave some to it, respect. I'll put mine up when it becomes completed, whenever that is I'm at a loss currently because the RAV screams Paraclete replica pouches to be put on it, but that's just too expensive.

Its such a shame, Pantac had such a good line of Paraclete pouches but they all got discontinued. I think you can buy the full set from Flyye though. And yes, I bought that HPC from you with every intention to give it nothing but pure, pounding, buck-wild love all day and night, and I feel as though I've accomplished my goal pretty well. I'm glad its previous owner approves.

Dear God Sugg. That beard... it's glorious. Anyway, this is the current state of my rig. Also have a FG Camelback to go along with it. I should be getting some stuff within the next few weeks. Watch this space.

Rel, sunset wheat is their best beer. Also, the TAG rig has always been sexy, even though they've produced so many better PCs as of late. GB, I am actually liking the FLC, too bad it isn't a Paraclete.

Thanks G, I've been working on it for a while now. It's an every winter thing.
New rig looks good. It's so not high speed I think it's come full circle and has surpassed most of the other rigs on here.
Also knowing you it needs a bunch of flotation devices like Echelons has on his.

Hey Sugg, what's the difference between the Spartan 1 and the Spartan 2? I never could figure it out when I was looking into getting one.
As I understand it the Spartan 2 is essentially the civilian version of the MTV just without the quick release on the cummerbund, so I went with the Pantac MTV because it was a little cheaper and has extra webbing right up on the chest that's staggered in between so I can mount my stuff a little more centered.
The only thing I don't like about it is that I usually need help getting the shoulder buckle clipped when putting the vest on.

If you Google "tag spartan 2 carrier" on the first page it comes up with images of both the first and second versions. That will help with the comparison I think.
The version one is very simple rig, no cumber bun, it goes together on the sides just the the Interceptor but doesn't open in the front like it does. It just goes over your head. The version 2 looks like it improves on ease of putting it on, it has a cumber bun that wraps around to the front of the vest.
I just got mine today and it's not the easiest thing to put on as you have to reach back around your side to buckle it.
All in all I really like it so far ;D, I will put up pix as soon as I get my CB pouches for the front of it.
