Aw, it lost the funny character that it had. It was made by a 13 year old retard and it made it funny.

Aw man...I was just about to upload some pictures of my FAST System on the 10-0 Chest rig I got from Strac Technologies, but the darn card reader on my computer no longer works. CRAP!

When I first saw all the multicam'd straps I thought that looked very Eagle, but remembered you saying it was one of the 10-Chest Rigs. Looks interesting. I'm not real sure if I only like the two columns of MOLLE on the back. I assume that's for a hydro carrier, but that seems like a fairly small amount.
What are the buckles for on the top and bottom of the FAST Mag?

I really like the F.A.S.T. system. Its like a magazine that dispenses magazines. It doesn't get much better than that.

FAST kits make me pants happy. Do you have any issue with the feeder lips on your mags cracking off or have you not had a lot of field time with it? For RS mags It's obviously not going to be an issue but one of my buddies has the CB one and he's chipped off the feeder lip on at least one of his mags if not more. Regardless it's a wonderful idea if you need to put a lot of rounds downrange quickly.

What are the buckles for on the top and bottom of the FAST Mag? Yeah, the 10-0 rig was designed by Sean Carrol for the Fast System and made by Eagle. Not sure what the heck those 2 columns are for. To be honest, the 10-0 was designed primarily for LEOs to quickly don in an active shooter situation. I'll ask Sean what he intended that for next time I get him on the phone. I've thought about putting a large utility pouch back there that might hold my 1L CamelBak bladder. If that works, it might look a little odd, but it'll be fine for short recon/tracking missions. Either that, or mount my radio pouch there for better reception. As for the Buckles, they are there for the included dust cover ( "that is pretty much useless"-Sean Carrol, Inventor), that is required by the military. FAST kits make me pants happy. I have my GHK Gas Mags for my G&P in there in those pictures. When I talk to Sean next, I'll discuss that with him and see if we can't come up with a solution for airsofters.

Sunshine, you can purchase them from STRAC Technologies. www.stractech.com now for $197.85 for the F.A.S.T. System and the 10-0 vest for $62.66. with shipping, it all came to $272.51 and got here in a few days. Send me a PM and I'll tell you how to get it for half that.

Looks very cool, im all about speed and functionality. But for $190 I'd want it to have a large capacity. Maybe 5 or 6?
3 mags just doesn't cut it for me, not for that price. But nice find, and nice kit!

But nice find, and nice kit! Well, if you need more than 3 magazines in rapid enough succession that you'll need more, then either you're a bad shot, or in a heap of trouble...or both. One, typically, will not rely solely on the F.A.S.T. System. They would have additional, regular, magazine pouches as well. But, in a quick engagement that is typically encountered in real-world, modern warfare, you shouldn't need more than 3 30-rounders in addition to what's in your rifle. If you need more than 120 rounds per operator in a squad to put down up to 10 armed insurgents ( large group by today's standards in Iraq) then something has gone horribly wrong somewhere in that unit's training. That's the warfare side of the coin. Now let's look at it's other intended user: LEOs. In Law Enforcement, if you need more than 3 extra magazines in an Active Shooter situation, then my guess is that you bit off more than you can chew. I don't know many officers that do that. In fact, most bite off less than they should ( IMHO). Having served as an Army Ranger and on a Tactical Team with a southern Florida Police Department, I can tell you that rarely in an urban setting did I need to reload 3 times. I can count the times on one hand, in fact.

No offense, as im going into LE. But in airsoft most times than not your going to run into a good amount of people in many different directions in which brush and other things come into affect on your shots.
You are correct 400 rounds should be plenty, but i just like having those extra's there for whenever. I understand what your saying about the average pouches but you can just get Plastic Molded Mag holder for your side, for around $50. And those would "do" the trick.
