I like the winter trigger guard. It's just a shame you had to sacrifice the receiver when installing it. Up until I read that on the PTW forums, I was thinking of making that addition to my own PTW.

yep, the receiver is crap but a new one is on the way!!! If you want to spend some time on a cool mod you should pick up the MIAD full grip kit from magpul which comes with the winter trigger guard attached so you don't need to install the pin behind the trigger which is what breaks most of the time(you just need some quality time with the dremel to get the motor to fit). I have that trigger guard on my M4 and ARs and love it.

I saw that MIAD mod, definetly one of the more complicated modifications that can be done, but worth it. For your info though, magpul is releasing an airsoft version of the MIAD in the near future.

Yeah but they wont be making them for the systemas' I wouldnt think. Remember we cant use most (if any) attachments for standard AEG's for our guns, their ment to mimic their reel steel counter parts in size weight etc.

And your gun came with a metal flashidder, I know the challenge kits do Ive built plenty helping Jeremiah when he was at WMI. Looks like Kdogg owes you....

The SCK Max doesn't come with a metal flash hider. They come with a gold painted cap that you slide the shitty plastic flash hider over...and of course they're not counter clockwise like every other AEG....I've got a Troy Clockwise coming for mine, though!

Wow, that sucks, they used to send the bird cage metal ones and the orange one was already onthe barrels. I guess they felt they could make more selling theflashidders seperate. bummer.

I wasn't expecting to have to pay another $30 immediately after purchasing the gun, mags, cylinders, and batteries. But, oh well, ours came with the new inner barrels. I supposed its an acceptable sacrifice.

the systema is a great aeg, and yes, mine came with the very cheap plastic flash hider but a little paint changed the look quick.

Thanks for the cool link but it almost looks like the magazines and ranger plates are the only true magpul parts that are for airsoft??? There was definitely some photoshopping in some of those pics especially around the magpul logo???

It does, it's locktighted on. You'll need a pair of pliers or channels locks or something.

BE VERY CAREFUL!!! You can easily warp that barrel and ruin the threads, heat it up the lock tight will losen, then use a pipe wrench or some thing of that nature to remove it. Golden.
