havent played CQC before, how much protection can I get from a Balaclava in CQC FYI, this game has been canceled. But depends on the balaclava. If it's one of those cheap thin ones, don't count on much. If it's a rather nice one, maybe like a nomex, you should be fine. |

I am just burned out a little on scheduling to get out to a game and it gets canceled plus Im just getting caught up in some serious R6...
Sargent first class getting ready to level up today!. Yay, 6 more hours wrapped up in a video game...

Well... Gunslinger, and you guys.. You missed a GREAT day. I missed the notice that the Sunday game was canceled so me and Kudkillioughta drove all the way up there and guess what, oh the games canceled didn't you see the notice? Well shit, no we didn't. Well Bill was like no worries, let me call Kender and see what we can get together for the day. Few phone calls later it was game on. Bill managed to get some local law enforcement guys in on the game. Some from the Ottawa Sherifs Department etc along with some of his guys and some of there friends. Was a small game but it was a good time. We spent most of the day doing LEO style training drills, not really airsoft games. A lot of room clearing etc. The entry teams never knew where people would be through out the school building, was great. Everything was low level light drills. I'm talking dark rooms like whoa. People had tac lights, strobes etc. Man, Bills strobe can blind a person in a dark room let me tell you. Kender and one of his boys were clearing a room, they came threw a door, STOPPED in the door way and I lit one of them up. Bill pauses the game and is like bad guy (me), that was GREAT shooting, good kill and then proceeds to tell the guy I shot why he messed up and why he was dead. You don't stop IN a door way I have nothing else to say =) Then after Bill ran the drills with the police and with some of there friends they setup a bit of a special one for me and my friend I came with. We did the whole lower level of the school with Bill giving instruction. Wow talk about a bitch. We are talking underground tunnels with over head pipes where you have to step over them, duck to get under them, boiler rooms, coal shoots, etc. So many rooms, you never knew where someone was going to be. The best part of the day was when Bill used a flash bang on us. Not a toy or a training flash bang but a REAL one. We were in this room and I mean it was all controlled so it was safe but in comes this flash bang and it goes off, OMG you should have seen the flash and felt the shock wave rip threw the room. You could feel the pressure in the room change when it blew and boy was it loud. I had a lot of fun training with the LE guys from the Ottawa sheriffs department, the trainee guys, Bill and his guys and there friends. It was an all right day, well worth the drive. On a nice side note Kender and Bill didn't charge a penny since the game was technically canceled. Good time guys, thanks for whipping something together for us so we didn't waste the trip  |

wow, I wish I didn't know it was cancelled!! All I did was watch clerks II, played some battlefield, and fire up the snowblower!

The good news is that the CQB school game is being rescheduled for sometime in mid-January, for more info check out Reddawn's new forums, I believe there will be a date posted this week. make sure you pre-register for this event it's going to be a great weekend.

Kojak, I think you broke my pinky I have nothing else to say Sucker is more swollen today then ever, and if I touch my knuckle, try to bend my finger, etc, it feels like someones shoving a knife into it. Looks like I need to go get some x-rays and buy some of those Wiley X tactical gloves Bill was sporting. Boy did I have a blast though |
