Wow, $30 - $50.......I painted 2 teammate's AKs for $5, which was the cost of the paint. Nice work though. some people will pay even more than that just to make their gun look cool. thats why a lot of people buy usless stuff like 3 203's, lazers and dozens of hicaps.

Hey, anyone here ever heard of labor costs? Only kidding, not really upset or anything... but there are some reasons the costs are up there:
For each camo scheme, we create stencils and custom logos (skulls, ghosts, hazard signs) if they wish, which is a lot of meticulous work. Not to mention the fact that camouflage artistry is actually rather easy to screw up. We pay a lot of detail and attention to our work, which therein lies the reason the cost is so "high", according to some of you. We've actually had people tell us they'd pay as much as $70-80 for this kind of work. But, those are likely the people who have rather time-consuming jobs and don't have time for side-labor like this... overachievers I have nothing else to say

Base color, + 1 or 2 side colors. I let them go, end result is like $9ish, but they're my teammates. I am not going to stick them with a $20+ fee. A teammate's AK is taking me more than a week, yet, I am still sticking with the $5 mark. I don't need more money, so I am happy to spread the paint around . [Grammar edit ]

Yes, I know, they're crazy, or they're overachievers, like I already said.
And dude, it's "they're", not "their". BIG pet peeve of mine, sorry.
And the whole reason we're doing this? To make money, it's an actual "business", so to speak, according to GenPat, so there you go.

Ah, I didn't notice I did that. Now looking back at it (even before I saw your post, I noticed I should of put "they're" instead of "their". Sorry, first slip up in a while . Sorry. There is a big business, I guess, I asked a guy over in Socal (California) if he could paint my G36c magazine like the one he was selling that was of an Arctic Camo scheme, and it was truely awesome. He asked for $35 + shipping there and back. I regretfully declined, because I think that is a tad ridiculous, though other people may deem it worthy, all in the eye of the beholder.

Well just a mag would be more like $10 we aren't going to go over the top with our pricing but we still want to try and make some money.
