Also, if you order a barrel too long, don't just hacksaw it off... you'll need to put a crown on the muzzle if you do... (which can be acomplished with a reamer, or very large drill bit...)

Dont forget biggie, I can shorten a barrel on my fathers engine lathe in his basement. Somehting I may have to do for myselft at some point. A reamer or drill bit will work to re-crown a barrel, but I would not reccomend it myself
