Got my new MP5K PDW in the mail a week or two ago but didn't post pics till now because it was boring. However, with some purchases, the gun is lot more interesting now. Thanks to Paul, I have TOP 1000 rnd. drum mag for it. I got to pick it up at OP Liberty and use it that day. I had read some bad reviews on the mag but decided to try one anyway. I was by no means disappointed with it. The reviews usually said something to the affect that they jam very often. I found that once in a while nothing would feed and I'd have to "jiggle the handle" a little bit but nothing impeded my playing. I also have a box of mp5 star mags. I alternate depending on the situation and my mood I also got a TM Knights Type Pro Silencer (once again, thanks to Paul). I snagged it for 10 bucks used from Paul's shop, which is unbelievable because it is in such great condition. Looks great on the gun and I like being able to take corners better with it and push reeds or whatever out of the way. It's also nice to be able to rest the silencer on something to keep your gun steady which is a lot more difficult if you have practically nothing in front of your foregrip. In the pics you will see I have a very lonely rail mount on the pdw. I'm still waiting on a red dot sight so an update is soon to come. Pics

That... that... that's possibly the best MP5K PDW I have ever seen. I hope you dont F it up by putting some huge hunting scope on the rail mount.
what is that yellow mark though right behind the bolt? just paint?

That is awesome. I think it's basically perfect the way it is, but maybe a point site wouldn't hurt it!

The yellow thing is the battery, it is a stick battery and when it is in there you cannot pull the charging handle back.
I really do like your gun there though Nightcrawler. The silencer looks really good on it.

I never pull the charging handle on a gun anyway. I'm thinking about wrapping a little e-tape around the batt so that it's black rather than yellow. Not really much to think about really, I'm just lazy. Thanks for telling me what I wanted to hear, all Seriously, it's good to hear that everyone likes the way my pdw looks. I'm hoping the red dot sight doesn't screw it up. I'm starting to worry :/ We'll see as soon as I get the right rings and pic out a red dot. I was so lucky to find that silencer. I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks again guys.

Yeah, I'd say tape the battery so its black instead of yellow. Nice gun!

I think it's ridiculous personally, you have 10 magazines...who needs a drum... but hey if you aren't going for realism, and you like it. Forget my opinion

Forget my opinion I got the star mags and a drum so I could alternate between realism and being able to mow grass with it Sometimes I don't feel like loading up all the star mags and changing every 30 rounds, and sometimes I feel like going for realism. Like I said before, it all depends on my mood. haha nighty, that thing is sweet, im glad i got some support from it at liberty i would call it "The cqb manslayer" Thanks man. Always an honor to meet someone from the forum and play along side 'em. Also an honor to earn a prestigious nickname for a gun. I'll keep that one in mind. ;D

I owned one of those top drum mags that you have. I never once had loading problems and was pretty impressed with that system on it. 2 problems I did have. Rust. That thing will rust like mad. So either always wipe it down, or do what i did, and paint it flat black with some acrylic or whatever you like. Second, The neck on the drum mag is attached by 2 worthless alen screws. I recommend that you reinforce that part of the mag with a L bracket or anything you can come up with. If you don't and let it get worse like I did. The drum will swing back and forth, and will not load if it is, not at the proper angle.
Quick comment though: Support gun with a stick battery. How's that working out for ya? If you remove the cocking mechanism you can fit a 9.6 mini in there. The M4QD 5.56mm, really bugs me and I recommend you paint that over and maybe put on some new marking, if you care for realism. Good choice on the low mount though. I hated my claw mount.
