I'm new to Michigan, so I know a lot of you don't know me yet, but you'll be seeing me about at games towards the end of July/August time frame. Here's a FEW of my toys, don't have pictures of the rest, but i'll post them soon. I have a thing for AKs, although I dispise the guarder kits. This is real furniture, the body and stock I did myself. Ive installed a different stock since, I know the TM one looks retarted with the real front. Work in progress This isn't as bright in person, and for you SPR nuts I know its missing a few Minor details, they are on the way. The gun I never use. This is made from a real front and stock, battery is kept in the sling. These have both changed, the G36 has a paintjob plus different handle, M4 has aimpoint instead of the gay Marine ACOG. Im still missing my 3 MP5s, i'll put pictures up soon.

wow, that is some awesome custom work, i really like the short M4-thingy, do you think you could post a review and what modifications you did, i would be really interested in that. also, the "gun you never use" looks really good with the wood furniture, so much better than with black grips

Welcome to Michigan, That is quite a impressive Arsenal you have going there. I bet it took a lot of patience to do some of those guns. How hard was it to install the real grips on the ak 47? Looking forward to seeing you at guns later this summer.

Yeah I can post something on the Kitty-Kat, once I figure out what section to put it in The AK work isn't too hard, just takes some slight dremeling and some JB weld. I had to create a tab for the lower handguard to make it fit into the body. The stock is nothing more than PVC pipe, works pretty good but it doesnt fold like the real thing, more for looks than anything. I'm thinking about putting an East German folding stock on it instead.

That SPR is beautiful, I love that gun. I want to get one quite bad but don't have enough money to buy one. How much did that cost you all together for the SPR?
The CETME kit you have on that G3 is also sweet. Very few people have 'em.
On the Kitty Kat where do you keep the battery? Or is it gas or spring?
Edit: Just read what you posted in the AEG section. Interesting set up you have there. And NightCrawler posted while I was editing this.

The batt for the kitty kat is kept on a sling. Check out his thread in the AEG section. I have an Sg1 and I really don't like the wood furniture *shrug*. Couldn't you mill out that stock so you can keep a batt in the stock rather thatn a sling?

You could put the battery in the stock of the CENTME, I did hollow out one stock but after a game it cracked on me, so I bought another and just used a battery bag. Some guys have used the exsisting holes and had a custom battery made, but I never made the effort to do that. (There are two holes already in the stock, for cleaning tools) The SPR didnt cost me too much, I started with a CA M15 for a hundred bucks (the wiring sucked), and built it off of the PM concept parts. Good thing about that brand is you can buy the parts seperate instead of in kits. The front end (all from redwolf) was 150, the upper rail was 75, barrel was 50 and the flashider was 30. The Bi-pod and scope I already had, but Im guessing you can factor in another 150 for those alone. I've since added a rail onto the scope ring, and flip up sites. And I know the front is upside down, I was on crack when I took that picture The G36 is my fav field gun, It really spits out some bbs, shooting about 350. I'm waiting for Star to release the Military type carry handle (with the laser and scope), but for now I put the flat rail back on and use an aimpoint.

Yeah It was a real acog, but it was fitted onto the G@P mount that comes with the replica, the real one was only for carry handles. I know you think real crap in airsoft is nuts, and I agree, but I had a few ACOGs sitting around that belonged to Uncle Sam That thing wasn't getting shot out by anything plastic anyways. And by SR-16 I assume you mean the SPR, and it was black, but I wanted it to match the real one I had in Iraq. It has some brown on it now, and "Tiffany" written on the stock.
