They look really good, but I think that if you stain them darker it will look a lot nicer.

I would also agree as far as color goes. One other thing I've noticed from most people's grips that are homemade is they lack the crosshatching that you see on most grips. You can find the tools to do the hatching if your interested in a little more grip for your gun. Another thing you see with allot of comp shooting is skate grip tape, perhaps adding some to the area's you contact the most would work the same and give you an interesting look. Overall they look much better than most things I've made myself:)

Luke, Yeah, El Phantasamo mentioned the cross hatching tool. The point of me making these though is that I don't want to drop a lot of money on them. The grip tape is a good idea though. I'll have to find a skate shops in around here. There are enough stoners in Ann Arbor to have a few skate shops around. Another look that I liked is on the Wilson Slim Line grips: www.wilsoncombat.com/a_grips_ultrathin.aspThat's a design I can probably do with my router and a solid guide. I'll see how it goes. And if I screw it up, I can get four panels out of $1.47 of wood so it's no big loss.

skateboard grip tape will tear up your hands, and its kindof ugly, doesn't seem like a good way to go

it wouldnt tear up his hands if he wears gloves, i dont think, but do you (Kneif) wear gloves?

Then it would wear out his gloves.
If you do try that route, do NOT get Black Magic grip tape or Jessup grip tape, since those are not only the most costly, but I think the best and the most grippy.
Nice Grips Knief. Except I think instead of rounding the top up like you did, I would of just had the top straight, because the curve looks weird for some reason.

I like the new look of them. I remember you talking about them in the chat room awhile back. I think the grip tape would look a bit awkward. It would be hard to do the cross hatching and more expensive, though I think it would look better. But on a cheap budget they are great looking, better than anything I could do.

Can't wait to see it in person.
