Nothing like a good 1911 to bring up your spirits ;D

Thank you, all it takes is a steady hand and a lot of natural light. Actually, my monitor's resolution is too high for most pictures, so they all get a little pixellated. I can't really tell how sharp they are. It looks like 5 and 6 may be a little fuzzy, though. Sorry about those two.
I need to find a way to get rid of that orange inside the barrel.

Sweetness ;D. It would look even better if you bought/made wood grips for it.

(Fire cracker in a 1911 will break it ). I personally don't like it, but it's jsut a worthless opinion. Have fun with it , all that matters in the end.

Sweet looking pistol there Knief. Some woods grips would be sexy.

Yeah, I was thinking about getting some wood grips for it too. There are two problems though. First, the WA grips are metal, so they add to the weight of the gun. I'd be giving that up if I got wood grips. For the look, I could probably deal with it. Second, I'm both cheap and poor right now.

Those WA grip panels are metal? I'd have expected wood-look plastic, not metal. That's so freaky that if it wasn't Knief, I'd call bullshit. You need some Wilson Combat grips for authenticity.

Those are absolutely gorgeous and I desperately want them. But alas, I haven't gotten any richer since my last post.
If you want, I can take a picture of the back of the grip panel. It's unpainted raw metal. I was really surprised when I took them off, they don't even get that cold to the touch.
GeneralPatten,
I got it from alphastrike in our very own commerce section. He charged me $170 shipped from NYC, a very fair price for both ends, if you ask me.
