I got a question, didn't you use to be like really pro Marines.
Now, you're in the army.
What happened man!!!
Anyways, yeah if you do spend the extra dough on a surefire.

Yeah, definitely.
I was actually going into the delayed entry program. But I got some offers by my National Guardsman recruiter, and about 80,000 bucks for college, plus what I make for drill and stuff is hard to pass up.
Not only that, but I am likely going to be selected as an officer later down the road. And, I fully intend to become a Ranger eventually.
In my opinion, average marines are tougher than average people from the army. But those motivated in the army will be just as effective as those motivated in the marines.

your profile says 17 arent your a little young to be making those choices and have you looked at all your options yet? sweet AUG though! I have thought about it for years now, and Im confident in my decision. I can't say I've looked at *all* my options, but I have prayed about this and thought about it for some time, and it is what I feel is the right choice in my life. I am only 14 and I already have my life basically mapped unless i get like critically injured i intend to join the marines or army and either become force recon or ranger. I have looked into it a lot "I got to hold it again ;D yay" Same here dude, Im getting my college payed for entirely by the Army National Guard. I just have to decide if I'm going to try and be a Ranger once Im done with college

I have looked into it a lot "I got to hold it again ;D yay" Two different extremes there, Force Recon, or Ranger. Force Recon is similar to the SEALs and Delta. While, the Rangers are like the Armys Marines. Just saying, maybe you should change it to Force Recon or Delta.

I don't mean to shoot you down or anything, but planning this far ahead for something like that is sort of setting yourself up for dissapointment.

Just saying, maybe you should change it to Force Recon or Delta. Delta is actually a counter-terrorist team from what I have read. So the SEALs and Delta are completely different. Thing is I am deciding if I want to lead firefights like the Rangers or get more tactical with Force Recon.

i'm jumping the gun too much. i just recently "snapped" when a kid said the guard was a bunch of pussies who just wanna shoot guns and i couldn't let him get away with that when all he does is play counter-strike and paintball. And get this this made me piss my pants: he wants to be in the Australian Army. HA!! i'm sorry, i should've known that airsofters with AEGs generally know the facts when it comes to the military so apologies to DE50man, but not to Sinofmp5, your only 14. but generally 99% of the people who think they know everything about army are just computer nerds. the 1% are the ones that go online and read books. that 1% is here

Thing is I am deciding if I want to lead firefights like the Rangers or get more tactical with Force Recon. I was not refering to what their missions pertain to, but more so the specialty of the missions. Was just saying that MFR, Delta, and SEALs are all in the same class of soldiers.

No problem Haha, nice I use the Nun-chuck batts. They just barely fit in the AUG, and the buttplate is slightly off, but it manages to stay on. Its nice having 1800 mah batteries for the AUG.
