I have some personal experience with the mini-launcher. It is most certainly not suitable for a handgun. Loaded, it weighs almost two pounds. This makes any pistol it would be attached to a two-hander, not to mention that it would just out far beyond the muzzle and look quite silly. A pistol-mounted mini would ruin aim and put considerable stress on any non-metal components of the gun. That said, the mini-launcher works well on the AK Spetz, G36C, or MP5 variant, where it would provide a comfortably round foregrip along with looking menacing and deadly. See: Apparently it is amenable to some creative customizations, too: Sessy! Zorak, I would have to agree with you on your assessment of the M79 "Blooper". That is one dangerous-looking piece of ordnance. All that wood and chunky break-action design with a big-ass tube at the end. It speaks to the no-nonsense engineer in me, calling...

I knew I sensed a kindred spirit in you. Seek professional help while you still can. I occasionally imagine clearing rooms with one of these and then break out in fits of hysterical giggling:

Well we shall see, if enkidu would answer his PMs . We might get the ball rolling on the CAW Mini Launcher. Other then that, I do not mind that it may be heavy, and become a two hander. Heck I saw some guy on this forum with my same design, except with an 18c. I thought it looked awesome. I will just have to see I guess....

By professional help, do you mean the professional designers and sales staff employed at Craft Apple Works, makers of superb Airsoft replicas?
Oh, Lord, my mind aches for it while my wallet cringes.

enkidu - No, I think Zorak meant electro-shock "therapy" when he referred you to professional help.
On topic - Before you do get the mini launcher, I want you to find something that weighs two pounds and zip tie it to the front of your gun and tell me how you are going to solve the following problems:
1) holstering your gun 2) doing a smooth transition from your primary (long arm) to the pistol
If you can work those things out, more power to ya.
Then of course there is the whole aiming thing.

I am currently working on a custom launcher usiing the TM203 on a real steel reciever and wood stock.
I plan on using it as a secondary sidearm, slung on my vest.
I do think it would be an alternative to being shot when all else fails eh ZORAK???

It would be a last mintue spread shot, and I think I would keep it in a pouch until I whipped out my glock, then slap it on for the last rounds in my glock's magazine. If your out of magazines, and ammo, for both your secondary and primary a spread shot would be the best way to finish them off. I could always custom rig a pouch to holster the gun. 2 pounds isn't much. At least I don't think. I will try that today, and get back to you on it .
