Swata4 Nice glock. Any plans to paint the orange or get a new slided? Other then that, nice looking peice.
And now to clear a few things up.
A little HK history, HK has only ever put into production one select fire gun. The VP70, which with the stock attached is able to fire in either single or 3 round burst. The USP, or Universelle Selbstlade Pistole is a single fire only pistol in either single acting or double acting layouts.
As for full auto M92's. Keep in mind, there is such a thing as a real M93r, while not common they are made.
And correct me if i'm wrong, and i may well be, but the only other common select fire pistol is the Glock 18/c. Not to mention its been a common movie gun for some time now, in the matrix, T3, and Nation Security. Anyway, thats my seemingly pointless ramble.

I'd like to see it with a silver metal slide, the 50 rnd. mag slapped in there with a tac light on the front Seriously, I don't think it would look too bad.

Ive got my Glock 18c on order right now. After a while I plan to get out my airbrush and paint the slide with metalizer stainless, and fill the trades with black for contrast.

If you know how to get it smooth enough, it might work better to sand off the paint instead of going over it. Anyone got experience in the field? It would be something that I'd be interested in learning about.

Just start with ra low grit sandpaper (100-200) and work your way up to high grit (800). A dremel can help speed up the process and achieve a more uniform polish but only if you know what you're doing. You'll want to seal the bare metal afterwards.

Clear matte varnish would work. I know someone on AO wrote up a little guide a while ago but it might've been erased in one of their dbase crashes. Go to a hardware store, find the oldest employee, and ask them what you could seal bare aluminum with.

I'd also reccomend Jacko's method, but would suggest higher grit sand papers. I used 120 on some parts and it left pretty bad looking lines. Start out with something in the 300-400 area and then finish up with around 1000-1200 for a nice polish. You'll spend a little extra time getting all of the paint off, but it'll be worth it in the long run.

The problem here is that when you polish carbon steel, it looks nothing like stainless. Thats why I wanted to use the metalizer enamel with a matte sealer.

Well, I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy.........
My bad, Im such a NOOOB! I didnt read that you said aluminum. On that note, if you stop with 600 grit, it should look much like stainless. After that you can go nucking futs with polising compound and a dremel making aluminum look like chrome

Be over 18 and enjoy/tolerate homoerotic humor and insults. ;D
More honestly, I don't think we're in a recruiting phase right now. If you want, PM where you're at and age, I can let you know some details.
