approximate effective range on a gun firing with a velocity of 425 fps is 190 feet. good job... most people get it wrong. However... instead of "at least" it needs to be "at most" 200 feet to be mathimatically correct nice gun

If by "pretty sweet" you mean "ghetto, and largely ineffective." I mean, he's got it largely obscured by his front sight post fer cryin' out loud.

hey man, just cause its ghetto, doesn't mean it doesn't work. im guessing the people that have played with me remeber my homemade wood vert grip ') it was ghetto, and it worked!

I paid 35 bucks fer my 3-point sling and my brother has a shoelace from one of my boots as a sling... and it was free! ;D
"Billy-rigged" (like jerry-rigged only not as good) are sometimes necessary on the field, they are cheap or free, and they make great conversation pieces.

it is mounted on my lower level of my scope mount and it works fine. Also This is my sr25 project gun so I don't even have the front sight on it anymore.
