Desert Eagles are counter-strikey due to the fact that even the real steel ones are far too heavy to be used for anything that target shooting and the airsoft ones are way to big but dont offer much of an advantage in power You've never shot a .44 mag revolver have you? They have more recoil than a desert eagle. People forget that the desert eagle comes in .357 .44 and .50. Have you shot an mk23,me neither but they are just as big weight wise.

I can vouch for the 44. After Dirty Harry came out, everyone bought one but were too afraid of the recoil to shoot it

In dirty harry he uses 44 special rounds to reduce recoil...

I soht a WW1 Issued Colt 1911 It was sweet.. Ross Dawg BAit

I've shot a 1911 springfield, but I think the mk23 has less kick and is more accurate I want to shoot one.

I've shot a 1911 springfield, but I think the mk23 has less kick and is more accurate I want to shoot one. The Mk will have less recoil because of the size.. the 1911 springfield is smaller than the Mk23. Like if you take a Glock 22 40 cal and fire that then get the 40cal glock thats a Sub Compact like the Glock 26 (but i think that the 26 is 9mm, i am not sure what the 40 cal sub comp. glock number is) the recoil will be more. "You've never shot a .44 mag revolver have you? They have more recoil than a desert eagle" The revolver would have more because its like a stright barrel shot gun. the recoil in a auto loading pistol is used to rack the slide back. the revolver dont have a slide. so it would mean more recoil. I shot a 12 gage Stright barrel (or break barrel) and a 12 gage Pump and the pump shotgun had less recoil. Ross Dawg Bait

Thats true also the mk23 is thicker than the 1911 and overall heavier. How did you like the straight shot 12 ga.? Like I said the revolver has more recoil, I just wrote it poorly.

It was ok.. it had more recoil than a German 8mm Mauser that was issued during WW2. I like Pump shotguns better.. Ross Dawg BAit

Uh, the recoil isn't doing anything in a pump shotgun, so the recoil should have been exactly the same between the pump-action and break-action 12-ga. shotguns. they may have had different weights, different stock designs, or different cheek pads that made the recoil feel less strong, but from an energy standpoint they're both doing exactly the same thing.

Also different shells have more or less kick like 2and 3quaters dont kick as much as 3inchers and bird shot is easier on the shoulder than slugs or buck shot, single barrles kick the most then doubles, pumps ,then autoloaders are the lightest.......Single shot pistols and revolvers can cant handle hotter loads than autoloading pistols.38,357 and 44 automatics use differnt (weaker) ammo than revolvers.
