After spending more on this hobby than on anything else in my life (not counting tuition), I felt it prudent to take a couple digital camera pics. Enjoy!
We start the show with my gas sidearms. This is my KWC Sigma SW40f, my first true airsoft gun.
I run this heavyweight beauty on propane, although it also works with an external CO2 adaptor (not pictured). It's had thousands of rounds through it, and I know the thing from inside out. I can field strip it one-handed. Picture still features the sub-350 FPS zip-tie from OP: Deep Jungle.
Here we have the KWA Cz.75a.
This glamour shot shows the slide locked back and mag out, just for fun. Purchased second hand, this is among my favorite of all guns. Nice sleek design, accurate shooter. It runs on 'duster' gas.
I bought a set of guns off of eBay that included this:
The ubiquitous MAC11, of unknown brand. I think it is a KWC, but from what I can gather, they are all pretty much the same. It's got a metal bolt for durability, and I picked up a second mag after my brother used it at OP: Broken Promise and spent half the day reloading. I also modified a leg holster to fit this gun. Propane powers .2's to around 320FPS.
For no other reason but that I wanted a new gun, I picked up a $30 special:
It's a UHC 'Mauser' NBB that works well for quiet work when playing. Because it is so small, I can fit it in my BDU shirt pocket for last-ditch action. Maybe an ankle holster is in the future? I actually got a kill with this one during a pistols only game. If you over-gas it, it'll slowly leak. Pop off a shot before the pressure equalizes and it'll go over 350FPS. Nutsola!
Now onto my pride and joy, the Tokyo Marui Beita Spetsnatz.
For now, the internals are totally stock (it's my first AEG, no reason to upgrade right now) Shown here with large AK hi-cap, hand-made left-handed 3-point sling and bargain-basement flashlight mount. I had to reinforce the buttstock screws with stainless steel bolts and a few nuts after heavy use stripped the stock ones. Also, note the custom top cover see-through rail mount with attached red-dot scope. It's from a real-steel AK replacement top cover. Of course, it didn't fit, so I drilled the rail off and mounted it on the stock top cover. The 'Wal-Mart Special' BSA red-dot scope has proved accurate [enough] in combat, and I can still use the iron sights. But wait, there's more!
Behold:
The first pic shows the 21st Century rubberized metal vertical foregrip. A superb and solid addition to my AKBS. Easy on. Easy off. The color matches and it's flawless in every way. We also have the Mosquito Molds/CAW mini launcher, which mounts on the accessory rail, too. Packs a loud and messy punch with BB shower shells of which I have two. It's the most fun accessory I have.
And that's the end of the write-up. Please enjoy a few more pics of my gear, including my earlier springer purchases.
EDIT: Finally got around to taking a picture of myself in my German camo. I've got on a German combat shirt in olive drab (can't see it under all the gear), flecktarn pants and overshirt, flecktarn webbing and pouches, and authentic German M1A1 helmet and liner (circa 1998 or so) Also have on a drop leg mag pouch and little black pouch on my chest for moscart shell spares. Whaddya think?
