so what im hearing is that the Spec Op squad i setup for this event is now just part of a team.
as for the using a pistol at less than 20ft, do you know you are going to get people hurt shooting them this close. That is why you have a "Suirrender/Call It" rule.
as for the FPS, All my AEG's are shooting just over 400FPS. Most major airsoft events set their FPS for full auto AEG's to no more than 420FPS, with a "surrender" range of 20ft or less. this is just a thought.
also is it true that this thing is timed based? never have ever heard of anything like that before.

The game isn't time based. If no one has complete all their objectives by the end of the day, whoever has the most completed wins.
You guys are making something far too complicated. Details will be announced at the meeting held before the game starts.
If your gun is shooting at 351fps or above of course you have to use the surrender rules. Though I would think that you would like to have a side arm to be able to defend yourself with. I would also think that you wouldn't want to run the risk of hurting the person your shooting at or make yourself look like an ass. For cryin out loud, use some common sence. Are you guys that inept?
FPS limits will be MIA rules. NO EXCEPTIONS. If your AEG fires 411-550, it will have to be semi only with a limit of 50 feet. YOU CANNOT SHOOT THAT GUN INSIDE THAT 50FEET, YOU WILL NEED A SIDEARM OR A GUN THAT SHOOTS 350 OR LOWER. If you fail to meet MIA standards you will have to find another gun or leave. I'm sorry, but we can't allow anything different.

Opdoc is NOT running this event sarge. AMAS is. He can make a squad if he wants but that still doesnt make you special. You will still have all the same objectives as anyone else and whether or not you do them is up to you and your squad.
Where did you guys hear it was time based? The spawns go by timing but thats it.
If you guys have any questions PLEASE PM either myself, Canto, or Caveman because by posting it you are just causing confusion.

Gilbon, I was just trying to get some things cleared up. as for not being a member of Team AmAs, I was unaware. I never said nor did Sareg say I was running this event. This is yours I have never taken claim of this at all. Sorry for the confusion on that point.

Well, for starts. I have absoluely no idea where this time based business started...
For clarification purposes; based upon rumors I've heard:
- No, the event is not time based. Nothing is time bases, objectives, nothing.
- No, an AMAS member/Armory Airsoft staff member does not need to be with a particular team for movement purposes.
- The only time based status in this event is respawns; from which respawn times will be handled as they were at Operation: Red Out.

Could we perhapse get an updated roster for the game? I would like to know what team my squad would have to be playing on and would like to know how many people will be there to make sure its worth a 3 hour drive...

The online thread has horrible information, scattered in 9 pages, with arguments and everything else.. It's sloppy, and makes me think that the game is going to be the same way.
If you can't organize it online, how are you going to organize it in person?
Advice = Build a webpage with ALL the IMPORTANT info on it. because right now, I seriously have no clue what's up and I don't want to play against you guys after reading all the whining in this thread.
Sorry to be a complete ass here, but this is all stupid, and the fact that you say "read, I hope that's not to difficult" is just BS. This is your responsibility to have it all organized and easy to read.
