IM guessing its an honor system, if you chrono your gun with a heavier weight you shouldnt switch to a lower weight after, thats wrong. so its somes using .35 or something at 500 and they switch to .2 and it puts them to about over 600. im gonna punch them in the nuts

i cant wait to play in this. this is going to be so awsome. one other question. are you going to be having medics in this game. if so. i am a navy corpsman, and i would enjoy being able to play the role if you are going to have them. i will be wearing the USMC MARPAT, since that is where i have spent my career is with the Marines. let me know thanks

Ok, if a gun shoots lets say 400fps with .2s, but the person uses .3s, the fps would go lower, thus reducing the fps that the person had with the .2s. Wouldn't this kinda be a drawback for people that use sniper rifles? They could be shooting 580 with .2s, but only shooting 550 with .35s, meaning that it kinda stops them from thier maximum potential. I guess I just don't get it. Check this link out. The chart explains it all. Enjoy! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airsoft_pellets#Pellet_ballistics

unless you mean that it would hit with the same force as a 12 at 500fps. Bingo.

Ammunition and FPS Regulations:Standard Rifles, Submachine Guns, and pistols 350 FPS – (arms-length engagement) 800 rounds in any configuration SAW's and Support Weapons350 FPS (20 ft engagement) 2500 rounds in any configuration Sniper RiflesPermanent Semi-Auto Only 400 FPS (30 ft engagement) 200 rounds in any configuration yea they are as long as they follow the above rules you know that i am now a member of your team, you might want to think over your FPS rules. what you are saying is that a AEG that is upgraded with the simple Hurrican upgrade kit can not be used in this event which in turn is not going to allow many players to be able to play due to this. I will be talking to john to discuss this issue a little further. Tiny tim to let you know I am Alpha Squad's Combat Medic, with the possiblity of becoming the the team tactical training officer. Just as i am stating here you need to think about these FPS regs. I will email you the Charter from CRA.

Holy Jesus. Do you people read?
I posted earlier in this thread that our FPS rules will reflect the ones set down by MIA.
Anything that is not clearly stated on here by myself, CantoXII or Lord Gilbon is NOT valid. Tiny Tim, and anyone new to the team, please do NOT post anything about this event, as you are not planing it.

I'd take the time to rewrite a few things up, because right now this event seems HIGHLY unorganized, just because this thread is all over the place.
I think it would be benneficial to EVERYONE.

No, its quite organized. A lot of people just arent understanding mostly in part of because the post that states our fps regualtions hasnt been modified.
Our fps limits are exactly the same as MIA standard fps regualtions.

okay thank you for the re-write for this event on the FPS. Also pertaining to the remark made by caveman about the other members of AMAS, i think it might be a good idea for the planners of this event to listen to some of us who have planned and played in some major events. i know for myself, in this year alone i have planned 1 major event that hosted over 250 players and i have played in 4 major events. so in some of us team members making remarks about this event, well they might just need to be made.
also just on another note. i have heard that there are only like 2 structures built for this, if you need help just say so. it will be okay to ask for help.

Ok, Words of advice....
Keep the team.... suggestions out of this thread. There is 5 pages of stuff here, I'd say 2-3 posts are useful.

We apologize for the confusion in this thread. We have spoken to some of our newer members about commenting in any way about the event. So, from this point forward, the only comments, and the only answers to any questions will be by myself, CantoXII or Lordgilbon.
Again, we apologize for the confusion.
