I'm looking for a good metal body set for an MP5 RAS, anyone have some suggestions. I was considering buying the Classic Army or ICS setup, but they don't sell one big set.

ICS MP5 Metal Receiver ( Navy Type )That's the most complete Mp5 metal set you can get really. I would prefer a new CA Metal Mp5 Body set over ICS though. You could always buy a new CA, switch bodies, and then sell the CA off with a TM body (saying it has a TM body of course). As for which is the best, in terms of reliability, I have no clue, but I haven't broke any of my Mp5 bodies. I would suggest a new CA version if any though.

Key there is NEW. I can't say I've ever dealt with the old style CA MP5 bodies, but I did install an old CA G3 body....which was hell. For a little more (but you'll save on shipping) you can get the ICS bodies from Airsoft GI www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=30_65&products_id=82That body I have had, and loved it. Installation was clean, everything fit as it should.

I disagree, I figure: $89 + $30 shipping from WGC = $119 $110 + $10 shipping from AirsoftGI = $120 Since the Body is around the weight of a GBB, it will only be $30ish. So the pricetag will practically come out the same, but it is better to support a local shop rather then an HK one.

This is the metal body thread, so I'm assuming this is where it belongs. The new "Firepig" metal body, what's the deal with it? Could someone please point me in the direction of what it comes off of? Obviously it's an M16 series variant, but is it some sort of rare gun? I'm speaking about the real steel gun. I do vaguely remember a thread somewhere (not on this board), most likely, military photos, and some of the people were mad about the metal body being released.
And a search with google didn't help either.

hello all,
i just recently received my new D. boys m4 full metal rifle but i do have a problem with it. at first it worked just fine but now even on a full charged battery when i squeeze the trigger in just does one little click almost like its trying to do the full action but nothing happens after the click.
i took out the motor and squeezed the trigger again and the motor turns just fine but dies down very quickly. i am thinking maybe a bad battery or something along those lines but if there is anything anyone can help me with it would be much obliged.

Goblinairsoft,
This really isn't the thread for a post like yours. This tread is for discussing metal bodies for AEGs. Your question is a tech question about either the mechanical or electrical working of the gearbox (whichever the culprit of your problem happens to be). Please repost this in a new thread either in the AEG section or the Tech Questions section. And when you do so, please use proper grammar in your post. Specifically, find your shift key.
