Combat depot lists smoke as pickup only, so be prepared to drive to Ohio if you want to purchase from them.

His new site doesn't have them listed as pickup only. Since it's not entirely completed I'm not sure if this will change. I'll ask him later and let you know.

Military smoke is typically ridiculously expensive, in the 45-90 dollar range per grenade. No shit military stuff (M18's) goes for $90 online, possibly cheaper at gun shows, but don't bet on it. It does work nicely, if you have cash burning a hole in your pocket. Less expensive lookalikes: www.keepshooting.com/militarysurplus/flares/smoke_flares_surplus.htmThe other option is to purchase smoke grenades intended for emergency signaling. These are inexpensive, and frequently advertised not to start fires. The only problem is that they typically come in just one color: Bright orange. I'd hate to have search and rescue mobilized just because some pilot saw my smoke grenade.

I wish we could get pyro stuff as cheap as our UK friends do, I get seriously jealous when I look through Airsoft International....but then I go open my gun safe and smile.

Those ones made by Superior Signal work pretty damn good if you get the 3 minute ones. Hell of a lot cheaper then the military type ones and good enough for what we use them for.

If you want to let me know what you can get them for, I wouldn't mind a few.

Here's the email I got last night from Superior:
The Sportsman Signal lists for $20.25 for a package of 3 plus shipping plus $20 per box hazmat charge. Up to 15 of the 3 packs will fit into 1 box and the weight of a box of 15 3 packs would be 13 lbs. Shipping depends on quantity ordered and destination.

I'll buy a couple packs if you want to go in on a box arc.

I went through four at Safari Strike last year, but I think they had cheaper pricing at the field. I'll check with the guys from TAC to see what they're charging this year.
UPDATE:
Smoke at Safari Strike costs $5.99 each! Buy them at the field!
