Well taking into consideration all that you've said I can say with conviction that a FAMAS would fit your needs. I'm not saying this jsut because I love mine but because it takes a large battery, it is unique, people say it has an insane ROF, and being that it is a bull pup variant it is compact and has a fairly lengthy barrel compared to carbine weapons of the same length. The P90 is another choice but it has a much shorter barrel ane teh mags are huge. Those are my thoughts on the subject.
Oh yeah both guns are considered ugly by many but eh...

G36C. They're new, not many people have them, and it's solid as a rock. I modded mine to fit a 9.6v 600mah battery but I have seen folks who've stuffed a 9.6v 1100mah battery in there. You don't need lots of mah for CQB, as the games tend to be really short. They have really big hi-cap capacity (470 rounds) for the size of the mags and they're shorter than an MP5 A4 when the stock is folded over.

hey, here's my 2 cents! have a HK-51 with the bigger 9.6 1100 mah battery and it also has all day longitivity and hi cap mags and not to mention the insane rof !! (read- firehose!) just got the G-36c and like jacko says, it has the 1000 motor (like the 51) and i intend to get the 9.6 battery asap so it has the same rof as my 51! both are a little bigger and heavier than a MP-5 but the firepower makes it well worth it!! will be using the G-36c saturday and have asked wts-mike to locate a big battery so feel free to look me up and i'll let ya play with the toys!! note to mike! if ya got it(battery) bring it charged!!!!!!!! thanks!!!

Hey Rogue, good to hear that you got a G36C of your own! I remember you checking mine out at Irrational Snowman and I'm glad it helped it you make a decision. I liked the looks of your 51, as I had never seen one up close before and it looked very nice.

Every "solid stock" MP5 takes a large battery including yours. You do have an MP5A4 don't you? Well that's a full stocked weapon that takes a large battery.

Well, something I planned on doing was get an M4 SMG kit and a regular M4A1 or a RIS. It'd be nice and short, you could have a fairly big battery and it'd be fairly unique. I was going to do this and throw a DTP C-mag on it to get the same gun(s) they had in 3000 Miles to Graceland but now that the prospect of a SVD is getting better and better...

There are a couple of foregrips for the MP5 series that can hold a large battery, but they all look like crap to me. They ruin the nice trim front end of the MP5, since they have to be wider to hold the bigger battery.
If you're thinking about the TM Uzi, make sure you research it and know exactly what you're getting into before you buy it. It's a unique AEG among the TM lineup, and is limited in some ways. There was a thread around here not too long ago which talked about the TM Uzi, so that might be worth a read.
