To come out and play with FLAG you will want to register on the FLAG forums (http://newman.proboards4.com) and then post in the event you want to attend that you want to attend. I'm sure Newman or Knief will give you more infor later but theres a link for ya.

I'm not sure if I'm reading this right, but it was hard to understand from your post. Adding a higher voltage or mAh battery will not increase your FPS. Depending on what FPS you're wanting to achieve, you'll need to add different parts as well, so let us know what speed you're aiming for. Also, there are plenty of custom batteries for the M4 that would power low-end upgrades, and still fit in the minimal handguard space.

For the M4, there is a 9.6v 1700 mAh "V"/"U" shaped battery available that will fit in the foregrip. You have to remove the fuse cover, but that's not really a big deal. To get to 340-350, you'll need a PDI 140% spring, or a Systema M100 spring. Don't get the two rating systems confused. PDI uses a percentage where as Systema uses a meter/second rating (i think that's what the M stands for). And to accompany the spring, you'll need metal bushings. That's the bare minimum, but you don't really need much more. newman has been running his 150% spring with only metal bushings for like, 10 or 11 months now, or something like that. I've had my PDW running on just the 150% spring and bushings for 7 months. neither of us have had problems with it. Any of our problems were self made. The reason i suggest the 140% over the 150% even though i, and three other members of our team have them is because for most of us, it put us well over 350 fps. Mine went to 370 (according to AT), Voss's went to about 380 (we guess), and Celeborn's went to about 400 (he had some other stuff done, or he lied to us about the spring, but i doubt that). So to acctually keep it under 350 (which is a smart move), stick with a 140% or M100 spring. Harley, remember, i'm not Knief on this forum other than that, good job initiating guys into our group.

Just to add to Jeff's comments about the PDI springs, I recently installed some upgrades in my AK, aiming for 350. I installed a PDI140% spring, guarder piston head and spring guide (both with bearing), guarder bushings, and a Systema BS tightbore barrel. All this took me up to nearly 370 FPS, which is not what I was expecting at all! I'm sure it'll settle down some after use, but it's a good example of what Jeff was talking about.
As for batteries, for a PDI 140% or equivalent, an 8.4v battery should do fine. If you want to bump up your rate of fire you can go with a 9.6v, and if you want longer battery life look for higher mAh values. Just be aware that some of the higher mAh batteries are bigger than standard size, and some are NiMH as opposed to the more common NiCD. Bigger batteries means you might have to modify the battery space, and NiMH means you'll probably need a different charger than the cheapo NiCD ones.

well FLAG guys, if i got a gun im going to end of playing wiht all u guys, i know ryna, he lived liek 20 houses away form me. i jsut said 350 cuz i figured thats the limit for you guys.so I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me. saying the stock small battery the m4 comes with will be fine with the 140%spring and metal bushings?

Yeah sorry JDL I thought of that but didn't initiate it into my writing.
