Perhaps the name is a bit much, but I thought it kinda' fit once I stood back and looked at the monster I had created . Pics of Zeus and his little buddy Glock 18C-aesar (no, not naming the Glock, but it just seemed appropriate for this post) can be seen at BELOW (thanks Hado!). 1/6/01 edit - The following jackstraw.coolfreepage.com/ does not work cuz coolfreepages sux and apparently they do not reply to emails - AVOID USING THEM.Zeus is the Sniper "Hunter-Killer" machine I spoke of in another post. I finished up the first steps this eve. Once the gearbox is upgraded (Jan), the Harris bipod is added, and a sling is attached (needs one, he's a heavy brute) Zeus will be ready to strike fear in the hearts of snipers in nearby environs. I would have added the MP5 Attacker to the pics too, but it looked a little strange with the barrel hanging out bare at the end....Zeus demanded its SOCOM silencer (plus a new GB Tech QD silencer is on its way for the MP5). After Xmas I'll do a couple photos of the arsenal and will include some "real steel" and let you folks tell me which is which. I'll also clean things up a bit...er, quite a bit. Enjoy the pics! ;D

Mr Jackstraw sent me the pics earlier today, and oooh I just had to sit back in my chair to enjoy them all for a while. Very nice looking weapon indeed. PS: Nice camo!

Minky - scope is a BEC that I got thru a co. in Shotgun News....$40.00!
NoName - yes, the scope is more accurate than the gun, but then my eyeball is more accurate than my throw too, and so it goes...... ;D

somehow i dont see much of a correlation between a supressed SR16 with a scope and the god of thunder. ONe is a god, one is a gun. One hurls lightning, one hurls... plastic pellets. ONe is from mythology, one is from... the wiley sneaky little mind of jackstraw. i hope it breaks and the little pieces imbed themselves into his beatiful face. actually im just jealous. but i hope you would have realised that by now.
