Just got done putting the trusty old MP5-SD6 back together after a little internal surgery. Couple days ago I ordered me a PDI 150% spring and some systema metal bushings from our friends down at Airsoft Toys. Everything went smoothly like before, with the only thing giving me any trouble being the Marui MP5 body. Which I'm sure Viking will be seriously bitching at once he decided to upgrade his MP5-A4. The mechbox took a little bit longer to get back together due to the stronger spring , but eh, nothing too serious. After putting it all back together and giving it a few test shots all I can say is you all better start praying you're on my team at Operation: Arctic Freeze cos this here baby packs a MEAN punch. According to this charta PDI 150% spring will shoot at about 359 fps with .20's so I'm happy! I'll conduct some experiments tomorrow to see how the range is and of course penetration power. Oh, forgot to laugh maniacally. here goes. Muhahauhaaa ha haaaa hAAA!

I second that, but actually, I'm wondering if Hadoken's is now equal to mine or a little faster. The last time I compared my ICS MP5SD6 to his TM MP5SD6 was the first MiA skirmish.

If I remember correctly ICS/Airsoft Elite MP5's shoot at around 330 fps. Check out the reviews over at Airsoft Players I think Pika mentions something about it. Either way you're still shooting harder than the standard AEG's out there Newman.

Yeah, everything else in there is stock. Should be fine. Eventually I'll get some better internals of course, but for now this set up should hold out.

Hadoken I just found out how much those 350+ FPS upgrades hurt! We were playing in my backyard (me and a couple of friends) On my birthday and and I fired a burst from my XM at someones legs and they pulled up their pantlegs and he was actually bleeding a little! I felt so bad. Now if I'm close to someone I have to put my gun on semi instead of full. I still feel pretty bad. But I still love haveing that 350 FPS upgrade on my gun. 5$ at airsoftshop 8)

Your friends are wimps. ;D YOU haven't met Retraw!! ;D He's shot me (without goggles on, of course )from >10 feet with his MP5K in the elbow. He's shot me from 15 feet with a 3-round burst from a gas pistol, in the back (I was on his team... ). He's shot me (without goggles on, of course : from >10 with Ballista's M11 in the ASS! I have funny skin I guess, but neither of them put any kind of mark on me. I would've thouhgt the M11 would, but that's only like 300 FPS. Still...bejezees man Retraw's psycho! ;D

I don't think psycho is the word for it... the term I would use wouldn't quite be so flattering.
If someone EVER shot someone else while they were not wearing goggles OR not particiating in a game (ie they shot them just because they thought it was funny) at an AO event, they would be promptly removed from the event with a warning, the second time they wouldn't play at another AO event again. And those are official AO rules... We don't need those kind of people in the sport.

This is new news to me. Hmm. If I would have known this went on I prolly would have gave him a warning, the second time outs him from any of my skirmishes. If something like this happens while you guys are at one of my skirmishes you had better let me know, cause if someone tells me about it and you don’t your just as guilty and will receive the same exact punishment.
<EDIT> Gah more I think about this the angrier I get. OP:AF are going to have some new rules! For one, I am going to require everyone to have goggles on at the waiting area. Last two skirmishes I have been getting odd feelings about that, goggles may be taken off once you cross the fence onto my property. Also, I am going to require magazines to be out of the guns before you enter a safe zone, as well you must fire your weapon until it dry fires into a selected area. And now, now that I think about it, No warnings. I will announce the rules at the begging of the day, no warning, none, zippo, nada.

I particularly want Retraw to get in "trouble", since now he's going to be pissed at me, but
Exact same punishment-in my opinion, no, because maybe either Ammo or Minky saw me get hit by Retraw in the ass (in Viking's garage, they were getting into their cars) and didn't say anything, because I kinda laughed. I guess I shouldn't have reacted like that, I guess.
When he shot me in the elbow was at the first skirmish, when we were all talking in a big circle about clothes to wear, and Retraw just shot me in front of everybody. Anybody from the first skirmish remember that? I mean, nobody cared, in fact a couple laughed. I dunno, we need some better rules at the Jan. 26th skirmish I guess.
EDIT-once I posted, I saw Viking had edited his. I agree, Viking, that makes a lot of sense. But about the no warning thing, I think there should be leeway about having the already dead guys just remind people to take their mags out before they enter the safe zone, not punishing them if they've forgotten. That would make more sense to me and probably everyone, having the dead guys just remind the incoming dead guys to take out their mags and keep their goggles on.
