Wow it's been a while since I've been on here. I forgot my password and just realized that you can have it sent to you (yes yes I feel like an ass) but what I was wondering is if when you order a gun if they come with that orange tip?

95% of the time, yes...and if they don't, they have a high chance of being siezed by customs

Ahh alright is there a way to get it off? Most of the pictures online I see the people have normal black tips

Here are some that might work, it all depends on the type of orange paint that was applied. #1: Nail polish remover #2: Paint thinner #3: Black...paint ;D My MP5 looks just fine with that #4: Fingernails ;D My M4's paint just rubbed off. Good luck, and never ask them to take off the the orange! You don't need a seized gun. That is, if it's sent overseas. It's sort-of in the gray area in shipping w/o orange in the US. I, for one, have sent my guns w/o orange paint in the mail system with no problems. Now that I think about it, I doubt you need orange at all if you order it from a stateside (US) retailer. I really shouldn't be giving out advice, but that's just info from my own experiences.

If you buy upgraded parts (like a metal barrel or slide), it won't come with the blazing orange. If you order a custom gun (like a pre-mod gun with metal parts), then (strangely enough) most likely it won't come with the orange. Like Newman said, it isn't hard to remove, but take your time, you wouldn't want to scratch or scuff up the end of your barrel because it will look bad in pictures.

soldat, most pictures you see will not have the barrels painted orange, just because it does not look nearly as realistic but when the gun is actually sent to you, it almost always has an orange tip sometimes you will even have the option of how you want things done:orange barrel, covered trademarks, puttied, painted, or scratched off. obviously you want your gun to look as realistic as possible, but you dont want it to get seized
