Woohoo! That's good news, and I'm glad the solution was a simple one. Can't wait to compare that beast to my own SD6 at some upcoming game. Though with it shooting at around 400fps I'll uuh...I'll wanna be on your team. *gulp*

Well, that would be true, but I am going to get a lower spring and put in there because I am not sure exactly how fast it is, but when I was sighting it in last night, I was shooting through popl cans. Anyone recommend any certain spring? I am kinda thinking of a PDI170. That would put me at ~390 fps, but I have heard that the PDI's will lose some tension and drop me back to like ~350-360 (I would guess). We'll see, but this gun is shooting much to hard for me to be able to shoot at someone.

Don't be silly, in long range warfare, that gun would be great, you just might want to pack a sidearm on you for anywhere closer than about 50 feet cause that baby will pack a punch. How far away are you when you shoot through the cans? I know that both of my guns, stock, have be able to shoot through cans, depending on how far away of course.

While that does make me feel much better, I really dont have the money to dump into the Glock 19 that I am looking at. I am currently rebuilding the engine in my turbo talon, so that is consuming quite a chunk of my money. When I am punching holes in the pop cans, it is from about 20 feet or so. Here are some pics. Notice the dents on the rim of the bottom of the can. Kinda torn up.

My friend just commented on the picture, he just said that his steyr AUG could go through both hard ends of the can. I definetely believe it cause I've been shot by it before(at about 20 feet away, straight in the head), we do have a rule of no closer than 50 feet anyways, so your gun should be safe to use on people.

quick question. How hot do your batteries get when quick charging them? Mine is almost too hot to touch after like 5 min. of charging. I think I am gonna have to order a new charger.

Well, did you use up all the juice from the first charge, or did you stick it back on the charger with it stil being partially full? I'm sure Gonzo or someone else can explain in more detail, but basically you should either build or buy some type of discharger, or else use your battery to the point it won't power the gun anymore. If you're charging it when it's still somewhat full, it will get hot fast! You should never let your battery get too hot to hold, or even very warm. That heat is how you know your battery is full; when you're charging it and it starts to get warm, unhook it!

I'll keep that in mind, but the battery was to the point where it wouldnt power the gun anymore.
How would I go about making a discharger?

Stan, buy yourself a good charger and spare yourself some headaches and damaged batteries. I use the duratrax intellipeak charger. You can pick it up at most RC stores.

Stan, While charging the battery pack it should not get to the point where you cannot even hold it. It should be warm to touch when it's fully charged. I think you might have fried the cells on that pack. As Locutus said get a decent charger that is a auto peak charger, with an adjustable amperage output. This helps a lot when it comes to charging the mini packs. When charging 600mah packs I charge them at 1.0amp. When charging 1100mah AA size I charge at 1.5 amps. When charging 1500mah 4/5A, 1700mah A size cells I charge them at 2amps. When charging Sub-C cells like the 1300,1500,1700,2000,2400mah I charge them at 4.5 amps. Nothing beats a good charger. It will make your batteries last longer.
