i decided to arse around with my P-90 last night. then i decided to shoot at things. suddenly, the bbs started going in really weird places, like three feet off. i thought "duh! hopup!" so i fixed that and they still went in weird direction. THEN, i pointed it down and the barrel fell out! i opened my P-90 up and found the hop up unit with a piece of rubber sticking out of it, with a tear in it, that i couldnt get back in. whats going on? anybody?

When you say "arse around", what exactly did you do? Did you take apart the gun and work on it? I'm guessing you didn't put the hop-up assembly back together right, if you took it off the barrel even. What exactly fell out of the gun when you tipped it down? If just the brass barrel fell out, then it sounds like the hop unit wasn't attached properly to the barrel. Take a look at airsoftplayers.com/p90/P90body.jpg and list the specific part numbers that are damaged or that you messed around with. At any rate, it sounds like you're gonna at least need a new rubber sleeve for your hop-up, but without pics it's hard to say.

P90-19 is the whole hop-up assembly, which WGC lists at $32.50. Do you mean P90-18, which is the little rubber sleeve that goes inside the hop-up unit and fits snug against the barrel? If so, that's what's called the hop bucking, and you can get the Marui part from WGC for $3.90. There are also other brands you could get such As Systema, Guarder or KM. My advice is to email AirsoftToys and have them special order it for you since they are directly linked with WGC as their supplier, and can get you any part that WGC stocks. You could also try emailing some other retailers to see if they have any replacement buckings in stock right now.
The big issue here is why the hell the barrel just fell out! There's something seriously out of whack in your gun to allow it to just slide out like that, tearing your hop bucking in the process. I wish I could hold the thing in my hands to look at it, but it sounds like you might need to replace more than just the hop bucking to solve the problem...

oh yeah.................#18. oops. cant read. well, the barrel's oretty much staying in there right now. weird. i dont think im gonna touch my gun anytime soon, to avoid destroying it. thanks a lot, Minky. EDIT: I just found out what made my barrel fall out. part of the hop unit was loose. Silly me. all I had to do was push it in a little and the barrel stayed. Now all I need is that hop bucking.
