Hmm clicking sound, like in rogue spear?
Seems to me a great assassin weapon would be a .22 cal full auto sub sonic ammo using SILENCED SMG. AM I wrong?
Whys that? The recoil of a .22 is so ridiculously low you could make extremely tight groupings at medium to short ranges. A small cal weapon with sub sonic ammunition and silenced would make less of a sound signature then a large weapon correct?
(starts converting his ruger .22 and heads for bin laden)

Viking, silenced MKIIs are precisely what assassins use. ;D But it's got to be close and dirty... Shooting at someone with a fully automatic .22 isn't exactly gonna result in a quick death, just lots and lots of screaming.

Its all about the head shot though, a quick burst of 3-4 .22 rounds to someone’s head will take out anyone (one 90% of the time)… well maybe not Robocop, damn, have yet to find a device to kill that bastard.
But yes, close and dirty, that’s the only way and the best way.

(starts converting his ruger .22 and heads for bin laden) You're going to have to add some more modifications to that ruger of yours. First, you're going to have to come up with a way to muffle the jingle of the case being ejected (and probably catch it in something) and sencondly you'll have to stop the crash of the bolt closing and opening again. and third the whole getting close and dirty aspect sucks =)

I sincerely hope that all of our board members would rather not take up a career as an assassin. Btw, I was talking about the Ruger MKII, not the Sten.

The best silenced .22 would be the browning Hi-standard. Its still in use, supposedly, by our specops forces/cia on their missions. Almost completely silent, and one of the most accurate out of the box pistols ever made.
