One thing to note is that you will have to install the spring yourself, unless he told you he had it installed after you bought it. With the bigger spring, your battery (stick 600 mAh) will die pretty quickly, after maybe 500-800 rounds max (with a 150%, JDL_9th got around 200 bbs out before it died). The PDW is a great skirmish gun, although it has a very short barrel. Just don't go trigger happy with the upgraded spring and tiny battery and you'll be fine.

For CQB good for long range not good. If you get it I'd recommend investing in an extra battery.

Newman's right, with an upgraded spring, you'll be changing that battery a lot more. If you have the money, get a second or third. There's always the option of doing what Newman and I did. it was pretty tricky and we had to get rid of the sling mount. We rewired it out of the back of the gun so I could attatch a 9.6v 2400 mAh on the stock. A third option is to remove the cocking handle and put a 9.6v battery in there. you will still loose a battery life, but you will gain a lot of ROF. other than the lack of battery space, the only thing that i find this gun lacking is barrel length. If you play CQB or you can get up really close to your opponents, then it won't be a problem. If you do find yourself constantly lacking in range because of the area you play at (like me on that huge flat field) then you can always buy a silencer and extended tightbore inner barrel. it will add a lot of effective range. [edit] looks like you already ahve a silencer. just measure that and add the length of the PDW's inner to find out what length you would need. make sure you leave about an inch or empty silencer space at the end, yo don't want the inner barrel to be too visible, it looks better when you can't see it. [/edit] with this spring, make sure that either metal bushings are included, or you buy them yourself. they are pretty much necassary with an upgraded spring. If you do install everything yourself, make you tighten everything back pretty well, but not too much. i'm now missing my mag release and i have a stripped screw other than that, it's a great gun. try not to dry fire too much and keep it lubed up pretty well. You'll need 100% pure silicone lube somewhere between 15-30 weight. if you have to stray from that weight a little, it won't be a problem. You can get it at pretty much any hobby store as RC car shock oil. just make sure it's 100% pure silicone. Most petrolium distilates will eat the rubber on your gun. now let me ask you a question, what kind of poll is this? you asked a question in a poll? that doesn't really work too well. if you want opinions, you should probably edit that so the options are opinions, like; "the PDW is a good skirmishing gun" and "the pdw is not a good skirmishing gun". or something like that that we can give an opinion on.
