As you can probably tell by the thread title I have a Smokey's AK/MP5 rail mount that goes over the sights on the marui AK-47. However it wobbles around since it is only attached by one screw. Does anyone know if it is possible to drill through the holes in the mount so I can mount it on to my ak wobble-free. My concern is drilling throug the mech-box/barrel. It says I need to remove the stock sightes but if you move the adjuuster back all the way it doesn't interfer with the mount. Edit: I found a picture of the mount www.topdogextreme.com/detail.asp?ProductID=179

Unless I can find a way to do drill through I will go with that. I wish I would have done a little more research before I got it. Well anyway does anyone know if it won't at least prevent the gun from functioning if I drill through?
Edit: If anyone knows of a site with pictures of an AK-47 being disassembled that would help me a lot

I am going to try to take off the sights completely but in order to do this I need to remove the lower wooden piece in the front of the gun. I can get the top off no problem but I have no idea how to remove the bottem one.
