Sorry about the excitement, not as cool as all the different weapons some of you people are always buying. But....... My upgrade parts have arrived.... Spring... Bushings.... Spring guide with bearing.... Systema flat gears.... yes yes yes yes..... Tomorrow after work, off to Resnick's to upgrade the MC51... Oh yeah.... I am doing one serious happy dance right now, and for those of you have seen me, you KNOW it would take something major to get my big ass dancing... Sorry, I will let you all return to your normal programming.

Piece of cake,
It was easy. Didn't get a piston with that and putting a small hole through the front of the piston is easy to get at the screw.
Got a nice 100fps increase in my weapon.
Went from 255 avg fps to 365 avg fps
sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet....

Nah, that is a real basic upgrade....
And now for some reason it has gone up.... Last check it was shooting 375.
I'm waiting for it to come back down....

What spring are you using Vitalis? If it's a PDI try running a few hicaps through it and see if it drops. I was reading about some guy in Canada whose gun was shooting too hot at an event, so he went and fired like 5 hicaps to get the FPS to drop, I have nothing else to say.

Had the same thing happen in the APS. After a few hundred rounds the APS jumped up by 10-26 fps. When I first did the upgrade it was shooting 390 now it shoots 400-416. Weird. I've been trying to figure out what caused the increase. The only thing I can figure is some tight fitting parts loosened up and are moving with less friction. The thing was well broken in before I did the upgrade too. I've got a few ideas that I'm going to experiment with after OP: W T (had to cut the spring down to get it within AO limits).

Did you replace the pistonhead or cylinder? The Oring can buff the inside of the cylinder, creating less friction between piston and the cylinder.....Or something like that, heh.

I put in a PDI 150% spring, oilless bushings, flat gears, and a spring guide with bearing....
Sucker went up to 375 and this was AFTER nearly 4000 rounds at Fallen Angel...
It's weird....
I expect it to come back down though...
