Im new to airsoft i heard about it from my school. And recently i bought an $80 kuan-ju works gas blowback m9. I havent been able to fire it yet because im broke and cant afford gas. But to the point how good are aegs? Do they sound electrical? Because that battery sound isnt cool.

Well... they're powered by batteries and are electrical, so what else are they gonna sound like? I've heard AEGs described as sounding like sewing machines on steroids, and that about sums it up... Don't let that discourage you though! Once you fire an AEG, you learn to love it. As soon as you see that full-auto stream of white plastic leaving the barrel, you'll be enjoying yourself too much to care about the sound.

Yup, sewing machine on steroids....
If your looking for something that doesn't souund like that there's really only one option, for one type of airsoft player... and that's the sniper... we use bolt action airsoft guns... (But I also have a full auto G3-SG1 AEG that is pleasantly resorted to when needed ;D)
