One of the most used guns in Airsoft. A perfect gun if you keep it stock and use mini batteries or upgrade and use nunchuck (or V) type batteries, or an external battery like myself. Oh yeah, I own it. It's my favorite gun in the entire world.

Is that a Classic Army M4? If so, and if this is going to be your first/only AEG, I'd stick with a stock Tokyo Marui M4 instead. The Classic Army guns don't have the best track record for reliability, and this could be really frustrating if it's your only gun. Also, the CA guns come pre-upgraded to shoot faster, which some would consider a plus, however for a first gun I think it's best to use a stock gun until you get a feel for how you want to play ,how you use the gun, etc. If you start with a stock gun, you can decide what, if any, upgrades you might want to do, and you'll appreciate the difference between stock and upgraded performance.

Greekman, have you actually dealt with Tokyo Model, or do you know anyone who has? I've never purchased from them, and haven't heard of too many people who have... If you're looking to purchase from an overseas retailer, I'd stick to some of the more well known ones such as Wargamers (WGC), DEN, etc. You need to consider the risks that come with buying from HK though, such as high shipping costs and chance of seizure by US Customs. If you comply with US regulations on trademarks and orange tips though, you shouldn't have any trouble getting your stuff into the country. You might want to consider sticking with a US retailer to put your mind a little more at ease. With a US dealer, you know the stuff will get to you OK, and if you have any problems it's easier to contact someone in the US than in HK. Most US retailers speak better English than their overseas counterparts too.

Patrick, calling them "jap" retailers is pretty offensive. Can you change it please? whether you meant it as a racial slur or were just abbreviating, whatever, but it comes off the wrong way.
and as for you not "trusting" customs, there's nothing to fear as long as you abide by their regulations, barrel paint color # 12189 , and permanently covered trade marks (both of which are fully restorable to collectors quality with the right cleaners and a little elbow grease).

No Minky and Pat, I don't really order from american retailers, with the excption of gear from mike at wolverine tactical (btw-great service).
I bought my mp5k-pdw off of ebay-came in unopened box (yes i know there was risks but it came fine. I bought the rest of my gear at tokyo-model, which is actually very good.

Well be that as it may I don't think anyone should order from japan unless they have Pay-Pal to retrieve orders from japan. Just save yourself the possible trouble stick to american retailers.
