Yes, soild black meets the uniform requirments for the Republican Guard.
"Republican Guard: Solids (black, blue), Street cloths, Shemagh"
Pulled that from the website.

Just signed up and pre-paid Can I assume that the t-shirt deals aren't all gone? Got my digital camera back so I got to throw my shemagh back on and snap a few pics: Critiques are more than welcome. Assuming that the ACO boys will be busy on the 26th, I could also run a brief shemagh wrapping tutorial for those who need one ;D Can't wait to represent my whole age group. Thanks ACO! ;D

Its hard enough to get everyone to chrono let alone get them to listen and then tie stuff on their head ;D I think well be alright and there wont be a lot of time to stand around and show people things. If you really don't know how to tie a shemagh there is about 20 posts on MIA with links or go to Military Morons and they have a picture guide.

Critics? Critique is a little different. Critiques, as in the commentary that a critic would make ;D Maybe I didn't catch it but what is the "shirt deal"? Edit: Sorry KF. Just read the site and answered my own question.

Read this; www.davidchapmanagency.com/aco_testing.htm or the last six pages of this thread well, since i'm a nice guy here you go: "The First 30 paid registers get a free event T-shirt designed by military artist Marc Wolfe How Do I Register: Send a email to acoclub@mail.com with your name and desired team. It is best to pre-pay to get in on the free T-Shirt deal" Thats right form the website. Please read. i'm trying to answer everyones questions in an orderly fashion so the least you guys can do is read a bit on your own. Thanks

...If you really don't know how to tie a shemagh there is about 20 posts on MIA with links or go to Military Morons and they have a picture guide. I had no idea how to tie a shemagh. I even went through and clicked on NightCrawlers link on how he learned to tie his. It said that the website wasn't sponsoring this page or something like that. Now thanks to Kung Fu, I went to Military Morons ( www.militarymorons.com). I had no idea where to find it, took about 30 minutes of looking. Located on Page 4 of the "MILITARY UNIFORMS/CLOTHING" Section. Scroll to the bottom right and there should be person with a blurred out face wearing a shemagh with the Text: "How to tie a shemagh". You have to enter in the username: mm and the password: mm in order to access the tutorial. Took me around another 30 minutes to figure that part out. Very helpful and the pictures help. Direct Link to Page 4 of the Military Uniforms/Clothing Section*Side Note* - Remember : Password: mm Username: mm

Sorry my link didn't work for you It doesn't work any longer for me either. The pages no longer exist and they don't appear on goog anymore. Also sorry you went through all that trouble with MM. Just google search "wrapping a shemagh" A lot of places sell them but there are a few "how-tos" scattered in there. I've noticed that while they are all generally the same, sometimes the wrapping techniques vary. Other shemagh tutorials: filairsoft.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=reviewot;action=display;num=1108857319www.actiongear.com/agcatalog/shemagh.htmlThat should be more than enough I was burnin' up wearing mine earlier today. Maybe I'm wearing it wrong Any update on the number of guys pre-registered? It was 20ish last I knew.

Link to the Waiver www.davidchapmanagency.com/Test%20picks/ACOWaiver.pdfIt is also on the information page for the event.
Any mature, responsible airsoft player that is 14+ is welcome to attend. Parents are also aloud to attend to observe or take photos at no extra charge. They may also play if they pay the registration fee. If you are under 18 you must have a photocopy of the parent or guardian that signed your waiver attached to the waiver.

I could get some 1 yard x 1 yard fabric and sell them if anybody wants. They won't be true shemaghs, but they are better then nothing. I could seel them for $5 or less, depending on what material/fabric I get. Anyone interested.
