Hey Mike, that's exactly what I was thinking.
I haven't replied to this because I'm not in-know with camo...but, now that a reputable person/source has said it, in my opinion, that looks like an urban camo that's really fading.

i was thinking about that too just because on the arm of the suit it looks like black stripes that maybe didnt fade as quickly. probably not it, but a possibility i guess

There actually is camo like that, no black city/urban camo. I remeber going in the surplus shop in Traverse City a while back, and seeing some of it, and if memery serves me correctly, I saw some at the Metropolitan Uniform Shop

Newman, FAS.org is a military research organization, the US version a Janes you could say. They are rarely wrong on the info they find, so I don't think they are wrond on this one. As for the surroundings, I just remembered something my science teacher told me, that Alaska has more temperate zones than they do artic, so quite frankly it wouldn't suprise me if that was winter camo. I just checked the picture and noticed that all the greys are the same shade, so if it is faded, then it was solid black and white camo which would stick out like a sore thumb.
Robo, the black striped you see are the velcro fasteners for the elbow pads.

I have nothing else to say, I was just agreeing with WTS-Mike, Alex. I know very little about camouflage patterns and nothing about FAS. My opinion was only based on its "faded" appearance.

Back to the non nit-picky answering of the original thread..........I have no Idea where you can get that camo. I checked all my suppliers and no such animal. (thats slang for that particular camo pattern ) Previously, I was just trying to bring to light my past experience with various types of faded clothing (stone-washed denim, Old BDU's, cut-offs w/the pockets hanging out, that washed out faded BDU cap that is fraying around the edges but I refuse to thow out cuz its "broke-in" just right now.) I'm surprised no one has made a comment about what he's got in those black bags?.............
