Guys...I might have sold my reddot, but I sure did use it a lot.
When the reddot sight is set *right* on the Picatinny rail that the carry handle goes on, you look at a nice freaking big front sight....
Sure, reddots are meant to used with both eyes, so if you want to do that, it's fine...but man, it's a heckofalot better when you have the reddot mounted on a rail that goes on the carry handle...

ohh...it might have been the difference in size, Newman...i had that 50mm sight... so it stuck up a bit farther than yours... as i recall, the dot was right there with the front post...

Yes I have the classic army one, so it has both size rails milled into it (normal size and small for .22/airgun scopes) I think they are like $12 but I am not at the store right now, so I can't tell for sure ($10-$15)
