Personally, I agree 100% with Arc on the whole "Not touching the outher guy's shit" part. Personally, I dont wanna be responsible for their gear, and I sure dont want someone pawing up my weapons and equipment. When captured, I'll de-mag and safe my weapons and all that jazz, throw 'em on slings and be a rather compliant hostage, because when captured (I've always thought) you are basically dead, they're just extending you the courtesy of not blasting you at point blank range. Now, should someone tell me they need to hold onto my stuff for me, I'll tell them they're either going to have to shoot me, Bang kill me, or I'm going to pull my rubber knife and start fighting back. Amen, very few people are allowed to touch my $1300 rifle without me standing next to them. Especially after my awesome scope was broken in half when I left it unattended for like 10 minutes... Grr

Arc said it well.
I will say it now: If you go as far as walking towards me with any restraint you better be prepared for the hurt you are asking for! If you want to hold my hand as we walk towards the respawn that is fine and I won't question your life choices but anything farther and you will have my foot so far down your throat I will have to walk home with you after the game.
Now that I have that off my chest I think that if you are with your close friends a knife kill might be fun every once in awhile.

Yeah, in a private game with close friends a knife kill is one thing.
But I've been to ops where a hostage has wrestled their captor for the captor's weapon and that shit just aint cool.

Yeah, that and getting shot full auto from 5 feet away isn't either. But yeah, I think generally speaking if your prisoner you can't do anything, unless it's agreed. Like at Silent Dawn Mirage had to shoot Canto with a $5 spring pistol to get out of jail, and he succeded.

I think having captives, and taking hostages is a good/fun idea. If the people do it right, and are respectful. In airsoft though, pyshical fights are never a good thing. Such as someone wrestling, and so on.
I think it would be fun though to take hostages, and have to search them. Just have an agreement that no one is allowed to hide weaponry in their private areas. Make that the only way that they can escape though, no wrestling the guard, or putting them in a headlock.
Because I know if I don't know you, and you attack me pyshically. I am gonna start beating your face against the ground, and treat you like a real P.O.W.

Doc, I do believe it was I who got Conolly in FF. Little did he know that the pistol I was holding in this picture was out of ammo AND gas. He is indeed a slippery little bastard. Hehe. I love this picture.

Operation: Silent Dawn - My gun kept jamming so in a ploy I walked myself into the government held base and surrendered myself. Unknown to junior, I had a full auto gas pistol masking taped to my inner thigh... Canto - "I want to be with my men." Junior - "I'm searching you John." Junior - (Doesn't search me) Canto - (Sits down and gradually slides the handgun from his crotch down to his feet) Canto - (Leans out and pops Junior on full auto in the chest, Junior almost doesn't call it... Canto sends a 2nd burst downwind and runs out) This isn't exactly a tale of valor, as much as an interesting anecdote about some events I have attended... Haha, I was there for that. There were about five of us captured. After our first great escape in which only John and I escaped. I surrendered to get my AEG back. Ahh good times. Didnt they Ziptie us later?

i was in a similar situation at a mini-even RDA did.
i was a high-priority target and tucked a knife up my sleeve. within the first few minutes of the scenario, i ran out and surrendered myself to the other team, claiming to tell them the location of the rest of my guys (attempting to lead them into an ambush). after i gave them the info they needed, they brought me to their respawn point where i just start knife-killing everyone as they respawned. was mildly humorous, but not really valorous
