Operation Firebrand: Matt, Snip, Warmonger and myself (all on the Russian team) were involved in a short, sharp firefight with some US folks across the powerline clearing. We took down four tangoes with no casualties (!?!) and were attempting to secure the area and check for jamming devices. In an attempt to provide good cover, Warmonger crosses the clearing - where he gets blasted with an M203 from the sneaky fifth guy we missed. Uh, oh. Snip, hull down in a bunch of tall reeds in the clearing takes fire from the rear (which we later found out was friendly fire from Hado). But all was not lost. Given the respawn rules at Firebrand, we could get Snip back in action more quickly if we could evacuate him to a safe area. So with me providing cover, Matt grabs Snip and starts dragging him to safety. As we're walking with our casualty, Snip all of a sudden yells in pain and bends over. I'm instantly concerned that he's twisted an ankle or messed up his knee. But no, he's been shot in the neck - by frostee, our own sniper. So I hereby nominate frostee for the Golden Sniper Award: not only did he shoot a dead guy, he shot one of his own dead guys. But then again, if all the stories GK tell about Snip are true, he had it comin'

I had that happen to me. I was dead and was getting shot. Even after they shot me they continued to shoot. I had to yell very loudly to get them to acknowledge I was dead.

To further add to the insult of getting shot by your own teammate... The initial hit to Snip came from me, not Hado. I shot Snip in the backpack, because I thought he was an American. I even conferred with Hado and he thought Snip was American too. I blasted him again when you guys tried to evac him, because I thought he was American trying to escape. I didn't realize I was shooting at a guy being evac'd, because he was making so much noise, he he.
I've said it before and I'll say it again... Snip and I must be on the same wavelength, because he always seems to be where I'm looking to shoot.

I have to say, the high point of all the shenanigans along the powerlines that day had to be Viking's mad dash (or rather, mad crash) across the clearing to secure the perimeter around the blackhawk. As the advance team heads out across the grass, all I can see are Viking's boots where his head was just seconds before, and all I can hear is the near simultaneous sounds of him hitting the ground and his laughter at the ridiculousness of it all. I don't think I've ever seen someone hit the ground that hard and get up, let alone laugh about it while carrying out the remainder of his assigned task.
