Actually, yes, they do call the Desert Eagle a "Desert Eagle" to avoid copyright infringement. If they called the desert eagle a "Desert Eagle" to avoid copyright infringement then that would explain why your amt hardballers are called silverballers, which is how this arguement started in the first place. I win.

Except for the fact that in several places, they are indeed called hardballers. You win? Want a cookie?
The fact of the matter is, Josh was/is interested in the pistols from Hitman. Those pistols are AMT hardballers, whether they're called "ballers", "silverballers", or whatever else during the course of the game and it's documentation.

Well, I am fond of cookies. ;D The of the matter is that I said that they are called silverballers and you said I was wrong which I wasn't. So can we call this argument off now? I do have more important things to do, but backing down is not one of my strong points.

What they're called means exactly two things:
Jack.
and
Shit.
You should really learn how to back down...it's a helpful ability now and then.

I was just trying to share a little tidbit with Josh. If what they're called means so little to you, you should not have made such a big deal about it. I encourage that this thread be locked to keep you from embarrassing yourself further. Afterall, we aren't helping whoever wanted to know about the springer shotgun.

They are AMT Hard Ballers, thats what their name is... they take .45 ACP ammo... they are 1911 style hand-guns and I dont give a shit what their "nickname" is...
and xaos... nice new-guy rapeage!
The first thing you'll learn on these forums is to never argue with any experienced player, ESPECIALLY those from geist kompanie (that includes xaos and almost all of the mods)
oh and in the first hitman i believe they are actually called hard-ballers, but for some reason in the second they are called silver-ballers, however the correct name for them are hard-ballers
you lose sir, good day
further more, you play "only urban"? so you play in urban places, like streets? with cars and windows...? with $30 shotguns?
and if you dont play in an un-authorized urban area, please state where you do play and where you got permission from to play in an urban area

They're called hardballers in most places in Hitman 2 also...that's where the basis of my arguement came from

First of all, I know which ammunition hardballers take. Even if I didn't, you told me, whether I cared or not. Just like I told you that hardballers are called silverballers in Hitman 2 and Hitman: Contracts, whether you cared or not. So go back to your "experienced player temple" and worship, you hypocrite.
Second of all, you may or may not learn that when it comes to the hitman series, I am the experienced player here. It is easy to tell that in at least hitman 2 (not so much in contracts for some reason, of which I am unsure) that Agent 47's pistols are custom-made or modified, which could easily explain the nickname for his signature weapons.
You may also come to find that it is difficult to win a battle of wits when you fight unarmed.
You lose sir, good day

right so im gonna go put some sweet wood grips on a 6" colt python, and maybe mill the barrel a little, then call it the Sweet Ass Revolver, and thats its new name... EVERYONE HAS TO CALL IT THAT
I was stating the facts, you however, were stating that your a pompous ass...
once again...
A battle? A BATTLE? Hell i dont even see I fight, you already lost the war...
Who is seriously on YOUR side on this matter?

So go back to your "experienced player temple" and worship, you hypocrite. *snicker* Awww, Josh is worshipping me now...how cute! ...[/sarcasm] Who are you to say you've got more experience in a game than anyone else here other than those you know in person? Now, I understand that I'm an arrogant prick...but at least I utilise the concepts of common sense and accumulated knowledge to back it up. Of course, the "I'll just keep arguing till everyone else gets sick of replying" school of thought is often effective too...and in that case, you win...I'm sick of replying. Have a nice day, please come again.

I'm tired of clarification but I will humor you. When I first said that Agent 47's hardballers where called silverballers, Josh or xaos could have said "yeah, I know" or "I think that nickname is stupid" or "why doesn't he just call them by their proper name". Instead they chose to call this into question and start an argument. I felt obligated to defend myself.
Josh, you should know that "battle of wits" is a figure of speech. I gave you enough credit on the literary level to think you would understand that. And for that I apologise.
Xaos, you have called my knowledge of the hitman series. If you wish to step into that realm, I will continue to defend myself, no matter how sick of it I am. In so doing, you will come to find that I am one of the more knowledge of people that you are likely to meet. (reference the thread where Jacko said that leon from the proffessional is french)
You may also come to find that I graduated top of my class at the "I'll just keep arguing till everyone else gets sick of replying" school of thought.
I still encourage this thread be locked as it has been going nowhere since the first 4 or 5 replies. C'mon mods. Giddyap!

I think it would be best if you just refrained from ever visiting these forums, let alone talking...
you have proved yourself unworthy of credit, your last response made absolutely no difference one way or another... I know what a figure of speech is, but apparently I was just supposed to see it and say to myself something along the lines of "Wow, this kid surely is smart, he reads books!" and leave the fact that you just tried to insult me...
You have no "Nack" shall I say, for insulting people or even getting a point across... so you should stop trying
xaos is apparently much stronger than me, to just stop replying to the little farts that come out of your mouth... but I personally can't stand a new guy that tries to sound experienced and "smart" (if you can even relate that to any aspect of your personality) and then you go and state that you play "only urban" which is obviously you and some other little kids in your neighborhood, running around with spring shotguns
and also, please stop stealing insults from other sources, be creative... like the people who were smart enough to write those books
