I was just wondering what some people thought about the UHC Super 9 Pro. I have one, kinda disappointed, I will probably end up buying an APS2 next summer. I don't want to give up on the Super 9!!! What I was wondering, however, is does anyone know how to upgrade/modify it, or know of places (on the net or otherwise) which tell about/perform the upgrades. Thanks, here is one site I found, very cool: sites.dotstar.net/~northstar/super9cust.htmI would get their package accept with a new tighter barrell and 250% spring.

How to upgrade? Can’t help you there but I th9ink the most important upgrade is to add hop up! Secondly, a stronger spring and also a good barrel. Bah Super 9 icky. Though reading that site kind of makes me want to buy one just for the chance to try upgrading a pos into a bigger pos.

Anybody know where the cheapest Super 9 is? I was reading around and heard they stopped making the Super 9 Pro with hop-up....wtf? Does the gun shoot very far at all without hop-up?

Thanks Locutus, and that one has hop-up too! Hmm...methinks I might buy one of those in the near future. Maybe...

I also own a super 9. I apologise in advance to anyone who will ever buy one of these guns in the future.
There already is a hop-up built into the super 9. One thing you should know is that the gun shoots all screwy when the barrel has only a little bit of dirt/dust. I also glued the chamber bb-feeding device inside the gun. This means I can't have ejecting shells, but it makes the gun more reliable.
I have added a few things to my super 9. I have added a Paintball Tippman M98 scope mount (it attaches easily to the body of the super-9). I also upgradded the spring to a PDI 250% spring. This took some time because I had to take apart the whole spring cylinder, but the improved distance was worth it. I also have a custom silencer that attaches to the barrel tip.
I don't suggest buying a super-9. Although the idea of a sniper weapons sounds cool, I haven't used my super 9 outside of a scenario game. I don't think that I have gotten my moneys worth.

I have a upgraded Super 9 pro and unless you want to throw away your money, don't buy it. Trust me, you'd be better of spending your money elsewhere. The gun is good for just "shootin around" but it is not good in games. Even when upgraded, the gun is just too inconsistent. One shot you will have a perfect 125 foot dead on shot and the next will go 25 feet and curve to the left. The distance varies too; sometimes it can shoot 150 feet and sometimes it can't even break the 75 foot barrier. Anything in the barrel causes the bb to change direction. Also, the gun is pretty cheap. After having it for about 4 months, i've had to fix or modify it about 10 times. The super 9 breaks quite easily. Don't get me wrong, it is a decent gun just to fool around with but whats the point of having a sniper rifle if it can't even pick guys off at long distances. When it comes to using it in games, its a piece of shit and if you want a piece of shit, i'll sell you mine for a lot less! But, if you are still interested in upgrading your super 9, email me.

I think that the Super-9 is the most expensive show piece airsoft weapon. (It's a show-weapon, because after the game you realize that even though everyone thinks that your gun is cool, you haven't got one kill.)
I've been trying to sell my super-9 (for $100) on almost every airsoft website I've come across. NOT ONE BIT! WORST GUN EVER!

Speaking of the Super 9, I saw a great review for it over on the Airsoft Zone forums in which the owner of the dreaded gun managed to summarize his thoughts into just two words... "It sucks."Aah, made me laugh it did.

Ed, you're not going to get any biters for 100 bucks for a used S9...not when you can get them for about 80 shipped...and new to boot. try 50-60 bucks, mate...

A spring, a scope mount and a silencer These really seem like things people wouldnt really pay extra for. The mount maybe but since its such a beginners gun I dont think people would care too much about the spring. The silencer is purely cosmetic ( I assume).

Yes, the silencer does nothing, but the fact of the matter is that every cent I spent towards that GODD@MN gun was a big waste.
The ironic thing is that the only confirmed kill with the gun happened last winter, and who was the this kill? ME!
