Just getting into airsoft, for now im looking into a springer sidearm to use, and was wondering about the two i personally like. Which is better between the UHC Beretta Heavy weight and the TM USP 40? Better range, accuracy, mags hold more bb's, anything that would be useful in my decision for a springer?

The TM gun hands down, UHC are exact copies and they are fairly well made, (mags and parts exchange no prob)but they are just not built to quite the precise tolerances of Marui. Marui's shoot .25's straight and far, in fact my Socom springer (marui) will shoot same distance with .25's as my friends P90 AEG (no exaggeration)

I’ve purchased a TM USP from Mike a while back. While the gun was working I will say it was the best performing springer I have fired. It sent .25s AEG range with ease. However the internals are crap. After about 100 rounds threw it a part inside the gun basically bent to almost a 90-degree angle jamming the gun. After further exploring the insides and seeing if I can get it back into working order I observed stress marks on almost all the plastic internal pieces.
In conclusion I would say go for the 20-dollar UHC. It performs well for a springer and it’s cheap. I spent something like 50 bucks on my USP and I regret every penny. You my as well get the UHC and put the other 30 bucks towards a gas gun like a TM Tac Master (my favorite *skirmish * piece), which cost usually around 115. Once you get a gas gun or an AEG you will rarely ever use your springer.
Additional Note: It is also possible I had recived a bad lemon from TM. Though I would think this be pretty common with springers and TM. My first TM springer, a berretta Cougar came to me with the fix hop up set way to high, sening .25s to the moon after about 10 feet.
A UHC model I would recommend would be the desert eagle (15$). I kind of hated the gun because while it did have the shape of a DE it was nowhere the dimensions. But the gun preformed well, it finally broke after aprox 3000 rounds threw it (3 years of plinking and skirmishing) and when its “cock-shoot-cock-shoot” 3000 is a very long lifespan.
