I like the rules you posted derick... But, and there is always a but,...
#6. Richochet's should count, and not gun hits. In reality, a richochet could in fact kill you.
I still think we should call "OUT" and/or put on the colored cloth.. If we do both, then a person couldn't just put the cloth on and play on from there. Holding your weapon over your head is also an effective way to let people know you are out.

see, the only reason i say riccoshets shouldnt count is cause riccochets with airsoft are WAY TOO common. If you playat m40 or any indoor field, its going to get to the point where everyone is bouncing shots off walls and stupid stuff like that
I also think that dead players should simply raise their gun up and keep quiet but make it obvious that they are out

im also saying that there have been more than enoogh times that i have been hit with riccostes off of trees and other people, other peoples guns, and to add one more thing, most riccochets have lost most of their energy by the time they have hit you making it many times hard to even feel if you have been hit

The easiest way is to either not count them or do count them...richochets I mean. Personally I think they should not count. It is hard enough to sometimes feel a direct hit....last thing we need is someone saying " I saw it bounce off the tree and then the log, and then that rabbit over there and hit you in the noggin!"
Oh well there is my two cents.

Snake, I totally agree with your example of the ricochet issue...
But...
I have seen people hite behind weeds and say "Those hits were no good, they were ricochets" just because they TOUCHED the fricken weeds and their angle of attack was altered.
Part of the reason I went to a 150% spring and .25 BBs, I can chew through the underbrush better and hit my opponant.
The ricochet issue is "six of one, half dozen of the other". Both sides of the argument has merit, we just have to find what is best for us.
Of course, that IS the whole point of these threads... hahahahahahhahaha

Point taken..
Can we safely say that richochets and weapon shots should not count?

Well, my opinion is that weapon hits should NOT count. (note, emphisizing "not" for clarification, not yelling )
But, I do belive that ricochets SHOULD count. I would rather deal with someone trying to "angle-in-shots" then deal with some shmuck trying to hide behind a few weeds.
I got pretty upset in the last game that I played in at Fallen Angel because I could see my BBs flying to center mass on this guy. Again, and again, and again... Oh, lets say around 300 BBs over the course of a minute or so. And... NO HIT TAKEN...
But, I checked out his "cover"... He was well within the "Ricochets do not count" rule.
Brush was right in front of him that I couldn't see from my position that was about 75 feet away. Everything that got through was technically a "ricochet"... So nothing counted. And yeah, it did get through, his position looked like I dumped a bag of BBs on the ground.
I personally like the ricochet kills rule.
