Although it was a smaller group, I still had a great time yesterday playing at TC. I hope that word gets out sooner that TC is hosting Bi weekly games so that the attendance will be larger in the future. The field is in great shape and I really have nothing to suggest since we pretty much ran ourselves the whole event, so keep up the good work TC!
Here is some gameplay footage if anyone is wondering about the field:

I had a blast, even though it was a small game. I would like to see more attendence at tcpaintball.
Nice video, I do like that shot of the kid in the end, you could see the look of pure terror in his eyes.

I am going to have to get in on some of that, it's much closer to Lansing than Kalamazoo is

Well, the game went extraordinarily well for only having 8-9 players… Only a couple issues with hit calling, but otherwise no issues with much else.
Planning: I felt we kept it simple and it worked out well. With the small amount of players, most people thought we should ditch medics as it takes one more shooter from the frontline and basically makes them combat ineffective. Each game, I felt was well planned and everyone participated in helping us plan it well.
Gameplay: The bomb games were really fun. If it hadn’t been for rushed communication on the part of Lloyd, we would have detonated the bomb without issues. Unfortunately, Lloyd and I changed plans and he failed to inform Elvis adequately. Hence, when Caesar made his legendary charge around the bunker carrying his unsheathed blade of glory! Elvis made little to no attempt to bring him down, thinking it was the opposite bunker we were assaulting. Always keep your team informed as to the plan. If you cannot properly inform the entire team adequately of a change in plans, then go forward with the plan pre-prepared. Otherwise the plan will most likely fall apart.
The Village is an excellent field, but I really got tired of all the paint from the paintballers... but whatcha gonna do. The bridge by the “castle” was an amazing shooter position… From that position I was able to hold out a great deal longer than most of my team mates.
The woods is a good field, but I found that the trails were very inadequately. Otherwise, I thought the bunkers inside of it, though somewhat short for taller guys like me, they provided good cover.
Mounds is a decent field. I feel like it always ends up the exact same strategy (LMG to the center, and teams split to the left and right of the hill). But it's still a really fun game each and every time.
The ref, Chris, is very laid back and very much open to airsoft. He's a great guy. I would recommend people go to this field if only to keep them open to airsoft. They're very good guys.
I love the field, and I plan on attending most of the games. I will be helping them with the Mini MilSims, and Chris and myself have some ideas we're cooking up...
Here's some of the footage of the last game:

I feel like if they could connect the mound field to the village then they could support tremendously large groups while also having the mounds, village, and woods fields being there own mini maps. The village itself is great, and no work is needed, but the woods needs a lot of changes. The structures are fine but the under brush is too thick and the trails are not clear enough for us airsofters with our gear to move swiftly. The mound field just needs to be used for more games like king of the Hill and the bomb game we played. Great hosts, refs and location. If TC commits I feel like it could become a pretty popular field for the guys inmid Michigan. Also a replacement for the people who are tired of Kalamazoo. If you haven't yet come check it out.

This was a great day, and the small numbers served as a good opportunity for my team (Task force Phalanx) to practice tactics. I had a good time, and the refs were great. love the field, and I strongly suggest that all Lansing area players attend their games. Glad you guys got footage of the day.

I had a great time. The level of attendance (fewer than usual, even for a REC game) made it relaxed and easier to just set up a quick game and have fun. Being surrounded by parties of paintballers gave us something to watch during downtime. But we really need to boost the airsoft army for games there.

Are there any restrictions on mags? Not asking for myself but I might come to one of the games in June with a few of my friends who never got seriously into airsoft and still have hi caps. That is if I can convince them to come bbwarz with me
