I have solved the mystery of my Desert Eagle not working!! (Kinda) People told me it was most likely the weather affecting my mag, but when I got home and took my gun apart, a terrible horror showed itself, this tiny piece was inside of the nozzle chipped, any idea what it is or where I can buy it? Thanks!

Your pictures are too crappy for me to say for sure but it looks like a float valve. If so once you fire the gun some of the gas goes towards pushing the bb until this valve slides forward and forces the gas to the blow back mechanism. Are you sure it was chipped and not made that way too? We really need better pictures to see whats going on. EDIT: I did some googling and it does indeed look like part "P42" it looks like it is the loading nozzle/float valve. I was unable to find the replacement part but the next best solution would be to have it 3d printed by ogean, from his posts it looks like he offers his services pretty cheap, you could also get a much higher quality one made too so this dont happen again. I think the extra weight of the metal slide may have caused your problem by putting extra stress on the blowback unit. Here is Ogean's post for 3d printing. miairsoft.proboards.com/thread/50898/3d-printing-services-selling-printer
