So I've been thinking of re-wiring my setup to low resistance wire and Deans connections. My current setup is completely stock and has spade connections between the mech box and the battery. If I rewire do I want to replace those connectors or just run straight wire from the Deans?

Replace the old connectors, that way you are essentially removing a limited on the amount of power flowing into your gearbox.

If I rewire do I want to replace those connectors or just run straight wire from the Deans? Generally those connectors are there because the wires have to fit through a tiny hole in the receiver when you remove the mechbox. If you can fit a full-sized connector through that hole in the receiver, then straight wire that entire section (basically, the only connector you have is the one at the battery). Less connectors = less electrical resistance.
