Hello guys, I've got a question concerning the fitment of my King Arms upper with the KA Colt lower. My question is this: Here's my upper: It's a King Arms upper receiver, which is all I really care about right now. ( The Upper) I have plans to get this rifle (a King Arms Colt m16a3), and I need to know if my old upper will fit on my new lower without much modification. I don't want any surprises with a 200$ purchase. P.S: I am going to be switching out the full stock, gearbox and MOE handgaurd for a rail and buffer tube combo. Because I can. So basically this: I need to know if the KA Colt lower will fit non-colt KA uppers. I don't see why not, but I'm putting a lump sum of money into this purchase so I want to make sure everything good to go before I do it. Thanks in advance.

I don't have experience with this particular swap but you should have absolutely no problem.

I don't have experience with this particular swap but you should have absolutely no problem. I'd read somewhere that KA Colt lowers were different than KA's other non-colt lowers. I just wanted to know if anyone had any real experience with it. Thanks for helping me feel a little bit better about my purchase .

Take my word with a grain of salt as I hadn't heard about that difference. Although I can't imagine them being too much different. The only real difference in receivers by the same company was when Classic Army switched from its old body to the "X Series".
Is the receivers in question metal or plastic?

They're both metal. Evike Matt actually sent me an email saying that he uses the KA lower on his guns and hasn't had any problems with other KA uppers fitting.
I'll confirm it when the gun arrives. Hopefully Matt and you are right.

I have had nothing but great service from Evike, Period. They're a far cry better to me then GI ever has been, and quite frankly, their's a reason they get 90% of my orders.
I've been repeatedly impressed by their willingness to help me out, considering they're probably the 2nd biggest airsoft company in the US.
Still, The confirmation makes the 200$ whole in my wallet feel a little bit more comfortable.
